Easter Cards - Happy Easter

Good Morning.  Happy Easter.  Well tomorrow is Easter but I wanted to share my Easter Cards for this year and I'll be cooking tomorrow morning so we're a day early.  I worked on these at a crop in January they turned out pretty cute.  I was so excited one of my new frame dies from Crafters Companion looked like tulips all around the decorative edge.  It was perfect for these very spring cards.   The background papers are Doodlebug and the Chocolate Bunnies are Lawn Fawn that I colored with Copics and cut out.

We are off to work on Carrot Cake (Abbi's Baking) and Whoopi Pies (Emily & Saul are baking) for tomorrows dinner.  This year I am only dessert support.  Otherwise the meal is pretty much the same tomorrow except I've added corn casserole to the mix this year.

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Easter.  Enjoy your families.

Scrappy Saturday - Jelly Beans

Everyone in our house loves Jelly Beans.  The Easter Bunny fills the baskets and the egg hunt eggs with them regularly.  Then they get sorted into favorite flavors of course.  Well Em decided to make a little art with hers first.

Products used for this layout are Doodlebug Papers and doilies.  As well as a few handmade embellishments and quote cut from a scrap of paper.  Turned out very cute.  I maybe should have put it on a colored cardstock background but I like it still.

Thank you for stopping by today.

End Of June Celebration

With lock down lifting sort of around here.  We invited Dave's family over to celebrate all of the things we missed out on during the lock down.  Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Emily's Birthday and Bob's Birthday, etc.  We cooked out and had a very nice time.  I ordered this cake to Emily's specifications.   Sweet C's Bakery did an amazing job.  Dave and I picked up some fresh flowers and dropped them off for the cake the day before.   I made the topper cutting cutting it out of glitter paper with my Silhouette. I think it turned out cute.  The roses in the background are from Emily's birthday a few days before.

Thanks for coming by hope you get to celebrate something as well.

Happy Easter Cards

Created some new Easter Cards for the shop here.  Just love this Lawn Fawn set, completely adorable.

I love Easter it usually signifies Spring is really here and we need it after a long Winter.  We have family over for dinner and sometimes an Egg Hunt if the weather permits.  As the kids have gotten bigger and bigger we have added Cascarones (eggs with confetti in them) to the celebration.  They like to smash them on each other.  It's funny to watch.

Hope your day is going well and you're getting excited for Easter and Spring.  Thank you for taking a look today.

Happy Easter - A Bit Early

Good Morning again I know two Memory Box Posts in one week. Fun right?    I have this Happy Easter Card over on the Memory Box Blog Today.   It's slightly early since today is Good Friday but that's ok we are all running around preparing for the upcoming Holidays.  I so wanted to make an Easter cards with colorful eggs so I created some striped paper by cutting some strips of Memory Box patterned paper and adhering them to a sheet of paper covered in adhesive then die cut the eggs out of the striped paper using the 2nd largest egg from Delicate Nest Open Studio Set 30023.  Once the eggs were prepared I cut 3 of them in half with pinking sheers.  The Baby Bunnies 99105 are cut from white and popping out of the eggs. The green foliage was created with the Bamboo Shoots 98793 and Happy comes from the Happy Cloud and Easter is cut from the Urban Uppercase Alphabet 98881.  All of the patterned papers are Memory Box as well.  I love all of the colors in this card they scream Spring/Easter to me.
Memory Box Products Used:
Moroccan Lime
Moroccan Violet

Thanks so much for stopping by have a Happy and Safe Holiday Weekend!

Easter Wishes - Easter Anya

Happy Tuesday!  Here for another Challenge I have created an Easter card featuring Easter Anya.  For the Anyone For Anya challenge post this Sunday.  We were asked to create an Easter Themed Card.   I am working out skin and hair tones with my Greeting Farm stamps so this gave me some time to practice.

Easter Anya by The Greeting Farm is colored with the following Copics - Hair: Y23, YR23, E35, Skin: R02, E000, E01, Tights & Shoes: RV0000, RV02,Skirt:  Y21, Y23 Eggs: Y02, Y06, BG10, BG15, BV00, BV02,Basket: E53, E55 & E57  Not sure I like the background around here just trying something new with B000, C0, & Y00  Patterned Paper is Cloud 9 and Memory Box.  Flowers are Prima, Gems are Hero Arts the punches are SU and Die cuts are Spellbinders.  The greeting is a Studio G stamp with faux stitching.

I used a sketch from the Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog as seen below:

And the Recipe Challenge #43 from Crafty Cardmakers which asked us to make a Yellow Card, with Ribbon, Faux Stitching and Gems.

Phew it was all hard to keep track of I don't think I'll be doing all that combining again.  It's like multi-tasking on Red Bull......  Especially since all I really ever do is make class samples.   Maybe I'll be better at this in a month or so?  Lets hope it's really fun if not frantic!

Hope everyone has had a great start to their week.
