Ketchup by Ramón Pérez

i seem to be catching up on my ketchups... it's a sad state of affairs really.

so my official "ketchup" is ol' benny grim. i had hoped to colour him up... but time did not allow.

i had hoped to be more prolific with my post this week as i haven't posted in a dogs age on the twarts. but with work, webcomics, trying to buy my first home and all... spare time seems to be at a standstill.

since my offerings are slim, i thought i'd also share a partially inked ARCHIE as well as the pencils for my HELLBOY twart, both of which i hope to ink soon.

KETCHUP by Andy Kuhn

My unfinished Twart this go-round was Hellboy!
Mike Mignola has been a huge influence on my work.
This was a tough one to do.
Hope you like it.

* i'm also placing this drawing in my original hellboy post.

HELLBOY by tom fowler

i've been a busy little beaver lately so all i can manage right now is an old commission (that was never paid for nor collected) as place holder and a promissory note. it's called: "grendel's mother".

back soon with more.

...still taking con-sketch pre-orders for heroes con btw...

HELLBOY by Evan Shaner

I had started with something more intensive for this week's theme, but while I was doing some digital sketching I ditched it in favor of this. I figure no Hellboy piece is complete without Baba Yaga and a Nazi head floating in a jar. Although now I realize I've missed a great opportunity to draw a robot gorilla.

HELLBOY by Andy Kuhn

Here's my finished Hellboy drawing.....finally!

Here's one of several roughs I did for this weeks Twart.
Unfortunately, I don't have one that I'm happy with yet.
I'm using this as a place holder, till a better drawing materializes.
All apologies.

HELLBOY by Declan Shalvey

Here's my Hellboy for this week. Cheers to Patrick for picking him; been meaning to do a decent Hellboy pick for a long time, so used this as an excuse to do it. Definitely the most work i've put in for a Twart. Given the subject matter of Hellboy i just HAD to show him in Ireland.

Fun fact, back in Ireland, my home is an hour between a castle (that i used to work in) and the above ruins of Quin Abbey. Got a little homesick doing this. Last time i drew that Abbey i think i was fourteen. Good times.

Hope ye like.

HELLBOY by Mr. Hawthorne

Pencils over on my blog.

best,
Mike

PS - Yes, I do know what Hellboy is supposed to look like.

HELLBOY by Ron Salas

I'll take any chance to draw Hellboy. However, as many on twitter know, I have problems drawing his legs. I've drawn Hellboy a dozen times and I think I've always resorted to hiding his legs behind either smoke or rubble. Anyway, I hope this time I'm successful drawing at least part of his legs.

I'm such a huge fan of Mignola that I want it to look "right".

This is a scene from the story "The Third Wish", one of my favourite tales.

Edit: As a bonus, here's a Hellboy marker sketch I did a couple of years ago.

HELLBOY by Chris Samnee

Lots going on this week (work-wise) so I didn't have time to anything more than this quickie. Hellboy is one of my favorite characters and favorite books though, so I didn't want to miss out on the fun. Thanks Patrick for a great pick!

HELLBOY

To celebrate today's release of Hellboy in Mexico, I decided to go "Mexican" for this piece :)
I have been a fan of Mike Mignola's Big Red since its creation and I have been running a special HELLBOY week on my blog, so if you haven't dne it yet, and if you love Hellboy, I suggest to go check it out :)

Thanks to Patrick for the awesome twart subject pick :)

Cheers,
Francesco
