VAMPIRES by Andy Kuhn

I picked vampires because I am huge horror fan.
This is the last of the three major horror archetypes that I've picked
to draw (the other two being Frankenstein, and the Wolfman).
This piece was done for the recent remake of the movie FRIGHT NIGHT.
I drew all of the character Evil Ed's art in the movie.
I'll be posting a brand new vampire piece in a few days.
Thanks for looking!

The movie The Princess Bride is one of his best. I love it!
Here's my version of Mandy Patinkin's character Inigo Montoya.

THE WOLFMAN by Andy Kuhn

HA! I finally got my Wolfman Twart finished.
I did a couple of other sketches which looked a little more iconic,

THE MARQUIS by Andy Kuhn

I love Guy Davis, and I love his creation THE MARQUIS.
I'm not sure if i'll have time to do a new drawing this week.
In case I can't, this is a Marquis commission I did last year.
I thought it turned out okay.
I hope you dig it.

CALVIN & HOBBES by Andy Kuhn

I LOVE - LOVE - LOVE Calvin & Hobbes!!!!
What a great pick this week, Nathan.
I can't say enough good things about Bill Watterson's cartooning.
He is a genius of the highest order, and I'm sad
that I can't still get my daily C & H fix.
This drawing won't make any sense to people not familiar with
the comic strip Krazy Kat. Watterson was clearly a fan of that strip.
This piece is my homage to both Krazy Kat and Calvin & Hobbes.
Two great tastes that taste great together! :)

MADMAN by Andy Kuhn

Here's my drawing of Mike Allred's awesome character Madman.
I've been a fan of Mike's work since I picked up his graphic novel
Dead Air back in 1989. His work always conveys a kinetic sense of fun,
and I love it. Hope you dig the drawing. Thanks for looking!

I'm old, but I'm still catching up!

PLASTIC MAN by Andy Kuhn

I'm still playing catch up.
I like the way Plastic Man thinks!
