Ich bin nicht untätig, aber ich habe einige Jobs zu erledigen gehabt und habe mich in letzter Zeit auf mein Comicprojekt konzentriert. Für das Comicprojekt habe ich einen Tumblr-Account eingerichtet, wo Ihr Skizzen und auch Teile des Storyboards finden könnt.

Modern Day Erik - The Music Geek

Okay, this time the entry is only in english. I hope, you don't mind. Some time agoo, I came across a facebook profile, were somebody posted as Erik from "the Phantom of the Opera". And Erik played Sims on Facebook. That was for me a bit odd. I can't imagine that Erik really wastes his time by playing Sims on Facebook. And complains about his Sims addiction. I thought, that here the creator and the figure got too close together. I say the creator, because Erik is the figur of a phantom-based webcomic, they (it's a comic group) are runing.

On the base of this minor irritation, I started thinking, what would Erik do, when I would live in our times. I think, he would search through record-antiquaries. Always on the hunt after the rarest and best recordings ever made. Something like "Symphony of some talented, but forgotten dude, played by the national orchestra of Azerbaijan". And I think, he wouldn't have so much problems, with going outside in bright daylight. I mean, this quy:

Go out side. And I think, they enjoy the attention, they get. And most importantly: They paid people to look like they look!! So, in my opinion, Erik would feel very, very stupid, when he would stay in the cellars of the opera house. Compared to this body artists...or more artworks, Erik looks rather normal.

Okay, the child in the background does what children do best:

Child: MOMMY!! THE MAN WEARS A MASK!! WHY DOES HE WEAR A MASK?!!

And the mom does, what moms do best:

Mom: Yes dear..... And he said what?!!

Das Sara phangirled rum. :D Ich habe ein wenig in Photoshop mit einer Bleistiftzeichnung von dem Titelcharakter aus dem Phantom der Oper - Erik- rumgespielt. Sieht jetzt ein wenig wie ein altes Foto aus. Obwohl der Herr sich garantiert nie hätte fotografieren lassen. Naja, auf alle Fälle plane ich wieder aktiver an einem Comic zum Phantom der Oper. Und ich schaue mal, wohin es mich führt.

Sara is phangirling around XD I played a bit in Photoshop with a pencil sketch. The sketch shows the main character of the Phantom of the Opera, Erik. Now it looks a bit like an old photo. Of course the guy would never let have made a photo of him. Anyway, I am planning more active on a comic about the Phantom of the Opera. And I will see, where it will lead me to.

Leute, die mich von Deviantart her kennen, wissen, dass ich ein Fan vom Phantom der Oper bin und auch ein eigenes Comicprojekt geplant hatte. Welches aber im Moment ruht. Jedenfalls ist es fast wie eine Begegnung mit einem alten Freund, wenn man eine Comicfigur nach langer Zeit wieder zeichnet. Allerdings ist der Anlass eher....... Uh.... Ich linke einfach mal zu einer Perle der Filmgeschichte, die so toll ist, dass man nicht weiss, ob man lachen, weinen oder kotzen oder alles drei auf einmal möchte.

People who know my works on Deviantart, know that I am a fan of the phantom of the opera. And I was also planning a comic-project about it. But the comic rests at the moment. It is like a meeting with an old friend after a long time of disappearance, when you draw an old comifigur. Okay, the reason, why I drawed Erik again... Is more......Uh.... I just post the link to this highlight in movie history. It is so....fabulous. I don't know, if I should cry, laugh or vomit.... Or maybe all three at the same time.

Die ersten Tage von 2010/ The first days of 2010

Okay, der Adventkalender ist unvollendet. Dafür habe ich schon für die ersten fünf Tage von 2010 Skizzentagebuch-Einträge.

Okay, the advent calendar is unfinished. But I have the first five entries for my sketch-diary 2010.



Dieses Jahr wird nach dem chinesischen Kalender das Jahr des Tigers sein. Aber das chinesische Jahr startet erst im Februar. Deshalb ist es erstmal eine Tigerkatze.

This year will be the year of the tiger according to the chinese zodiac. But the chinese new year will be in febuary. So the tiger is firstly a tigercat.







Ich habe mit meinem Vater die beiden Edgar Wallace Filme "die toten Augen von London" und "der Mönch mit der Peitsche" geguckt. Die schwarzweißen Edgar Wallace-Filme sind doch irgendwo besser.

Me and my father watched two "Edgar Wallace"-Movies, who are very famous in Germany. The movies we watched were "die toten Augen von London" (the dead eyes of London) and "der Mönch mit der Peitsche" (the monk with the whip). I for myself think that the movies in black and white are the better movies.




Ich machte einen Spaziergang im Schnee und sah dabei natürlich einige Vögel, darunter auch einen kleinen Zaunkönig.

Heute, sah ich einen Fuchs vom Zug aus. Stand im Schnee auf einer Wiese neben den Gleisen.

Today, I saw a fox when I drove by train back home. The fox stood in the snow near the tracks.

Akilah

Das passiert, wenn man zeichnet und Björks "Dull Flame of Desire" in Endlosschleife hört. Sehr experimentell. Das ist ein Charakter aus den Dunkelelfengeschichten. Sein Name ist Akilah. Zwar ist Akilah eigentlich ein weiblicher Name, aber das ist an sich kein Problem, da gleich klingende Namen durchaus in verschiedenen Sprachen anderen Geschlechtern zugeordnet werden kann. Beispiel "Mika". Mika ist in Finnland ein Männername, in Japan aber ein Frauenname.

This happens, when you hear Björk's "Dull Flame of Desire" in shuffle. Very experimental. This is a character from the Darkelven Tales. His name is "Akilah". Okay, normally Akilah is a female name. But this is no problem, because same sounding names in different languages can belong to different gender. Mika for example is in Finland a male name, but in Japan a female name.

Ich mag einfach farbiges Papier. Und ich wollte mal meinen Dunkelelfenschamanen Nikolaj zeichnen. Ich hoffe, dass ich mit dem Storyboard für die Dunkelelfengeschichten gut vorankommen werde.

Das Mädchen und der Wolf/The Girl and the Wolf

Heute war mein fauler Sonntag. Deshalb nur eine kleine Zeichnung. Eigentlich wollte ich eine Teezeremonie zeichnen, weil ich gestern an einer während der Eröffnungsfeier des Tokyo Acacia teilnahm. War schön. Aber ich konnte mich heute einfach nicht aufraffen. Deshalb eine kleine Zeichnung. Das Bild gehört zu meinen Dunkelelfen-Geschichten. Deshalb wird es unter "Dunkelelfengeschichten" und "Comic" einsortiert.

Today was my lazy sunday. That's why I made just a small drawing. I planned to draw a japanese tea-ceremony, because I was at one during the opening party im Tokyo Acacia, yesterday. It was beautiful. But today I couldn't force to do me the drawing. So now just this little drawing. The picture belongs to my darkelven-tales. It will be labled to the darkelven-tales and comic.

Princess Momonga

Von japanischer Natur nun zu japanischer Popkultur. Eine Freundin hat mir heute erzählt, dass einige bekannte deutsche Manga-Fan-Artists nichtmehr mangamäßig zeichnen wollen. Das hat mich dann hierzu inspriert, weil ich mich immer gefragt habe, ob es eine grosse Sache ist, von realistisch zu Mangastil zu wechseln. Anscheinend ist es einfacher, als wenn man von Mangastil auf realistisch wechselt. Ausserdem wollte ich nochmal Momonga zeichnen. Die Kleinen sehen einfach so aus wie japanische Maskottchen. Witzigerweise bin ich kein Fan von Magical Girl Serien wie Sailor Moon. War ich nie. Ich stand mehr auf Saber Rider & die Starsheriffs.

Habe übrigens gestern vergessen zu erwähnen, dass Momonga wohl eine chronische Blasenschwäche haben.

From japanese nature to japanese popculture. A friend of mine told me today, that some well-known german manga-fanartists do not want to draw mangastyle anymore. That inspired me to try mangastyle. That is because, I always asked myself, if it is a big deal to change from realistic drawing to mangastyle. It seems to be easier than to change from mangastyle to realistic drawing. Also I wanted to draw some momonga again. The little guys just look like japanese mascots. Funnily I am no fan of magical-girl-manga like Sailor Moon. And I was never. I was more a fan of Saber Rider & the Starsheriffs.

Yesterday, I forgot to mention, that momonga seem to have a loose bladder.
