Keltisches Einhorn / Celtic Unicorn

Ich bin so beschäftigt, mit Jobs, einem Webcomicprojekt und anderen Plänen, die mir im Kopf so rumschwirren. Manchmal ist es da sehr entspannend einfach Keltische Knoten zu zeichnen. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen.

I am so busy, with jobs, a webcomic project and severeal other plans I have for the future, and which are swirling around in my head. Sometimes, in this cases, it is very relaxing to draw celtic knots. I can really recommend it.

Variante von der vorherigen Zeichnung "Gedanken". Diesmal mit mehr keltischem Knoten Wahnsinn.

Gedanken / Thoughts

Eigentlich wollte ich diese Zeichnung zusammen mit einer anderen -ähnlichen- Zeichnung hochladen. Aber die zweite Zeichnung wird noch ein bißchen SEHR VIEL länger brauchen. Ich wollte hier mal wieder mit keltischen Mustern arbeiten und diese in eher surreale Motive einarbeiten. Wie ich schon früher gesagt habe, mag ich es gerne keltische Knoten auch etwas experimenteller einzusetzen.

Originally, I intended to upload this drawing together with another -similar- drawing. But as the second drawing will take a little VERY MUCH more longer, I decided to upload already the first one. I just wanted to work again with celtic patterns and put them in a bit surreal motive. As I said in the past, I like to work with celtic knots in a not so traditional way and do more experimental things with them.

Hour of Sketchpower

Zum einen mein Eintrag für die "Hour of Sketchpower" auf der Sketch Book Addicts Gruppe auf Facebook. Zum anderen auch ein Sketch-Diary-Eintrag. Habe die Zeichnung nämlich in meinem schon fast vollem ersten Skizzentagebuch gemacht.

On one part it is the entry for the "Hour of Sketchpower" from the Sketch Book Addicts Group on Facebook. On the other part it is a sketch-diary-entry, too. I have done the drawing into my almost full first sketch-diary.

Ich will nicht so viel schreiben, ist schon spät. Nur soviel: Ich war wieder ein wenig detailverrückt.

Postkarten sind da!!/ Postcards arrived!!

Die Postkarten von meinen Motiven sind eben angekommen und ab sofort auch käuflich erhältlich! Entweder in Münster im Laden "Jippieh" oder direkt bei mir. Sie kosten pro Stück 1,50 Euro.

Wieder keltischer Knoten. Aber ich möchte ein wenig experimenteller mit den Möglichkeiten arbeiten und nicht strikt traditionelle Knoten machen.

Keltischer Knoten "Schlange"/ Celtic knot "Snake"

Das dauerte, wie man wohl sieht, etwas länger. Ich habe irgendwann mal mir beigebracht keltische Knoten zu zeichnen. Und irgenwo macht es auch süchtig sie zu konstruieren und auszuarbeiten. Eigentlich wollte ich eine Kreuzotter mit einem keltischen Knoten füllen. Aber da war das Format des Buches zu klein und das Papier zu dünn. Unter dieser Zeichnung sind zwei Lagen missglückte und rausgerissene Zeichnungen. Wenn Jemand gerne auch dem Knotenfieber verfallen möchte, hier ist das Tutorial über das ich das Zeichnen gelernt habe. Und ich finde, es ist immernoch das Beste.

This took, obviously, a little longer. Some time agoo, I teached myself to draw celtic knots. And it makes somehow addicted to construct and work them out. Originally, I planned to fill an adder with celtic knots. But the size of the book was to small and the paper is to thin. Under this drawing are to layers of mishappen and ripped out drawings. If somebody would like to fall into the knot-fever, here is the tutorial. I learned in this tutorial to draw celtic-knots. And I still think, it is the best.
