Sweet Dreams Memory Album

Hi and welcome to the blog today.
It's been a while but I have an album to share today using the latest Tonic Studios Memory Book die sets Sweet Dreams and Keepsake Layering Memory.

I've used a collection of Mintay papers in a beautiful range of pastel colours called 'Lovely Day'.

The butterfly die is from the Wings and Things collection, the flowers from Beautiful Blooms by Tonic Studios

I made the flowers with Foamiran coloured with inks and then carefully heated them with my heat gun to reduce the size. This leaves them a little firmer than if not heated but works a treat.
The litte filigree branch is from the Cutesy Posy collection.

There are various dies from the Tonic Memory Book stable used as well as those that come with the Sweet Dreams die set.

I hope you enjoy the shows today and that this wee album gives you some inspiration.

Thank you for joining me. Have a great day!

My Memory Book Half Cut Die collection

Hello and good morning. Welcome to the blog today.

I had the privilege of working with the newly launched Memory Book die set from Tonic. It's another ultra versatile accompaniment or stand alone die set that will enhance your Memory Book collections. It is the perfect companion to the Life's Journey Album, also on today's launch show at a brilliant price.

You don't need them both to complete an album but working together they make a great variety of books that will keep you entertained for many happy crafting hours.

Being a bit out of practice I did forget to take photos but I managed to nab some screenshots from the walk through video I made. It was too long to upload to the blog.

There are beautiful decorative panels in the die set but I decided to keep the plain version to show off the lovely papers.
The centre panel is from the Filigree layering die set
The Moments are taken from the Legacy keeper die set

This album perfectly co-ordinates with the Life's Journey die set and the little heart tags are dies used from the accessory slider die sets in that range.

I've used tabs from the Memory Book 2 Tabs and Paperclip die set

The lace border die is one that I just love from a good while ago.
I made the tiny flowers from the Half Cut set

This page features a Concertina pocket and Legacy Keeper
I have magnetised the pocket to the page so it can be lifted out and worked with separately.

The back page features a decorated magnetised strip that hold an accordion folded length of card stock in place. There is room for a number of photos and memorabilia.

I've taken a pic of the two sets available from the C & C page.

I hope you enjoy the album.
It's simple enough for a beginner to make and is a lot of fun made easier by the fabulous dies.

You will find lots of inspiration on FB on the Tonic Studios page and smashing samples from the Design Team.

Have a good weekend!

Keepsake Memory Book

Hi and welcome to the blog today.

The album I made using the brand new Tonic Studios Keepsake Book Maker Die collection.

I was so fortunate to be able to have a play with these but as I'm now officially retired from the team I decided I would include some of the older dies from my stash to give them an airing as well.

I hope you enjoy this one today. The dies are flying off the shelves, everyone it seems loves their memory books.

Thank you for joining me.

Mini Album - Remember

Hi and welcome to the blog today.

I have another mini album to share, one that I made a wee while ago and more as a reference to myself than for any good reason. 😄

I made it using the Tonic Studios Memory Book 2 layering die set and the Spine set that accompanies it.

The papers are from a Mix and Match pad from the Works called Sweet Garden Roses and I have to say that the value is exceptional. I used just about half of one 12 x 12" pad for this album.

The plain card stock is from the DoCrafts Capsule collection - Eau de Nil that just matched the papers perfectly.

The metal embellishments are from China bought on Amazon and are fabulous for decoration and as I found great for the ends of the ribbon ties to keep them from fraying.

I've used various Tonic dies to enhance the pages.

The spine using one of the layering dies from the Memory Book 1 collection

Inside are all manner of pockets, flips and flaps revealing journalling spots and places to tuck your photos etc.

I have included pull outs on most of the pages, great for larger pics as well.

The little tucked in booklets also provide more space for photos or little secret messages.

I've used an EK Success punch for the edges and the Tonic photo die on these pages

Of course an album needs a waterfall and I've made this one using the dies from the MB 1 collection again.

The pull out on the facing page provides lots more room for those all important pics.

Lots of flips and flaps and photo mats on these two pages

A removable booklet and more pull outs for these pages

Photo spots and a pocket for more mini booklets completes the pages

The back of the album

I hope you enjoy this one. It's the Mummy to the baby legacy keeper I posted before.

Thank you for calling in.

Have a super week!

Lilac and Lavender Album

Hello and welcome to the blog today.

I made this album for a lovely lady and I'm pleased to say she liked it.
I've used Tonic Studios Memory Book 2 dies and Crafter's Companion 'Blues and Lilacs' A3 paper.

I also used leaves (Tonic Craft kit 5), waterfall and the photo frame from previous Tonic Studios Kits, Tonic Simplicity border punch, Memories die (Set 2) and page dies from Memory Book set 1 from Tonic, Filigree metal embellishments and EK Success punch from my stash.

Hope you enjoy this one today. 😊
