I am so excited to post today.
I had the privilege to be asked to make a couple of samples for the Rotating Memoirs launch show on Create and Craft (7.00 - 9.00 pm) tonight.
It's such a fun die set and would make a lovely keepsake memory gift for a family member, a friend or just yourself.
There is one main die set with the base pieces, layering dies and mechanism to make the turning spindle and two additional sets for different page shapes and decorative elements.
Jodie has made an instruction video on how to put this together and it is so simple to do.
Catch it HERE
I made one with a colour theme - pink, white, gold and teal and the second as a wee 'album' of my dog Charlie.
I found a use for the 'diamonds' on top of the Tonic Nuvo embossing pots. I used them to decorate the spindle knobs! LOL
This page includes a shaker element. I loved making that.
I've used Tonic's Scribble dies a lot in this example either whole or in part. Such fabulous decorative elements, love them!
My second sample is showing off my wee rescue dog Charlie.
He's such a funny wee thing and this was a perfect way to capture his 'moods'.
I used Graphic 45's 'Raining Cats and Dogs' for this one and I used the spindle die to emboss the lines on the plain pages to give a 'ruled' appearance.
The spindle knobs have been finished with Glossy Accents.
As you can see, you can have all sorts of fun with these interactive dies.
They could also be put to good use in your memory books and card making so making them even more versatile.
I hope you enjoy the shows this evening. The DT samples are fantastic as always and it was a privilege to pop back and have a play.

Have a great day!
