Thinking of you pop-up card

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.
I've a variation on my Sizzix Horizontal A2 pop 'n cut die today.
I'm not a huge fan of that size of card and prefer to use a 6 x 6" one, so nothing to stop me doing that and using the PNC as an insert is there? :)

I've used a 6 x 6" scallop edge card for my base card (Craft UK Ltd)  from Joanna Sheen
Sizzix Pop 'n Cut Horizontal A2 die by Karen Burniston
Papers - Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur collection
Spellbinders Labels 14
Stickles Icicle glitter
Walnut stain distress ink

I just used a piece of the gorgeous paper from the collection for the front of the card, added a small label from one of the sheets and stamped a greeting (Stamping Up - Sincere Salutations) and popped it onto a Spellbinders label 14 die cut from Stamping Up card stock. I've edged it with Lava Green Viva Decor Inka Gold and finished off with a couple of small swirls from the Sizzlet Love set that goes with the pop up insert.

The card opens up to reveal the pop up insert.
I think I went a bit overboard with the old dies here but what the heck - I really enjoyed myself putting it together. :)
The gorgeous papers come into their own again and I used both sides of one of the sheets for this insert.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts
Border die - Spellbinders Floral Doily Accent die
The top and bottom accent dies are from Memory Box

Phew! thank you for sticking with this post - it's a tad long.
Well, we've had a bean feast of the Sun Kissed Fleur collection. I'll give you a wee rest from it as you are probably fed up looking at it by now.
Catch you soon!

Colour Create Challenge #94

Hi and welcome to the blog today. It's time for another challenge at Colour Create and this time the colours have been chosen by the lovely Sharon L. Here's a glimpse of the inspirational picture we worked with.
Wouldn't you just love to be there!
So we have to use blue, yellow and white with the optional extra of shells.

Our prize this time is from the fab Bunny Zoe's

gif maker
It's one worth trying for with a super gift certificate for the prize!

I just knew the image that I would use for this challenge and it's one of the new releases from D'Arcys Diaries. She is called 'Underwater Queen' 032 and isn't she just beautiful? There are two graphics in the set together - one with bubbles and one without, which is the one I've chosen.

The background card is from Core'dinations Gem collection
I've punched the edges of the yellow cs with an EK Success punch
The doily is a Lifestyle nesting die from Maddylisa Crafts
I've embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder and chalked over the embossing with pale blue chalk (EK Success)
The gorgeous foliage die is B117 'Fanciful Flourish' by Cheery Lynn from Teddybo.com
The leaf is one of the Marianne design dies that I thought looked the closest to seaweed. :)
The shells are from a Sizzlet set I've had for aeons. I've cut them out of Centura Pearl cardstock and inked them with ivory and blush Promarkers
The sentiment is LOTV stamped onto a Spellbinders Label die and inked inside the die with scattered straw distress ink
The little blue bubbles are dewdrops by Robin's Nest
The image is coloured with Prisma pencils and sprayed with Spray n' Sparkle iridescent spray from Crafter's Companion
A wee sideways view to show the layers

I hope you enjoy this card today half as much as I did making it. It's so good to be back on track again and feeling so much better.
Don't forget to check if you were last month's winner over at the Colour Create Challenge blog and you mustn't miss the gorgeous cards the other girls have made for the current challenge.
I look forward to seeing you there!
Thank you for joining me today, have a good one!!!
