A Catching up on 2016 Trade

A nice little zistle trade knocking off some 2016 Rockies needs, chipping away at the Archives team set, I have said it before, I am not really high in the 1953 design, we have seen it before through Heritage, but I do like the 1979 design. The Blackmon made the want-list for the beard close-up if nothing else.

My 2016 Update Wishlist.

Update is usually my favorite of the flagship releases, as a team collectors there are usually new Rockies cards of either rookies or new guys. It's still a couple months away but I have been thinking about what I would like to see in Update this year.

A Very Donruss-y Trade

I don't buy much Donruss (or Panini) but it does make it to my wantlists from some weird part of me that misses junk wax and middle names on backs of cards, so here are two need additions to the Nolan James Arenado collection.

First Taste of 2016 Topps

This post started out much longer, but there is really nothing new here, just some of my thoughts on 2016 Flagship, so I cut it down to the basics. My first and so-far only 2016 Rockies card, Chad Bettis. After going through the blaster I really like the design, I like the lack of a defined border, I like the hat logo instead of the primary team logo (CR vs. mountains for the Rockies). I like the foggy corners.
