You know you are a good guy when you send other people cards on your birthday. That is just what Mr. Buckstorecards has done, his most recent package coming close to his famous Feb 14 B-day. The highlight being my first Chris McMahon card on one of my favorite products, Bowman Platinum.
Baseball card blog focusing on 1971 Topps, cards of catchers and the Colorado Rockies, sometimes drifting of into other areas or sports.

First Comc Mailday of 2019 (Part 2)
I passed on buying a couple boxes of Panini Revolution and instead just bough the two autographs I really wanted, along with the Bogdanovic I found for cheap as a pending redemption. It's so nice to see Jason Williams on-card autos with the Kings in modern products and having one in Revolution, my favorite NBA product is about as good as it gets.

Check Out My NBA
The results of a small basketball binge arrived in my recent COMC mailday. Some decent stuff, including the above Peja Stojakovic, capturing his 2 game career with the Raptors in his sunset season before going to Dallas and helping them win a title. As a bonus it an on-card auto from a nice looking higher end set. I am a sucker for the Gold Standard brand.

Budget Blown Basketball Edition
If you want been following along here, you might have noticed a lot more basketball. I finally landed the one basketball card that I wanted, A Jason Williams on-card autograph. Williams still has a strong hobby following, so this cost me a little more than I would like to spend on a single card, but it was totally worth it to add to my collection. Nothing better than getting a great card and not having to deal with buyers remorse.

Recent COMC Order
COMC mailday also means my other online purchases come though the mailbox service, the above Rocket Ismail autograph was liberated and returned to it's rightful home in Canada. This was when the CFL was a big deal with Wayne Gretzky, Bruce McNall and John Candy buying the Argos and signing The Rocket to a big deal. This is from the 1991 All-World set that might beat any junk wax era in terms of production. Oddly the 100 card base set has 10 Rocket Ismal cards, not including the above auto and a Promo card.

Trading with Crazy Joe
A blogger/Tradingcarddb trade with CrazieJoe's Card Corner, starting with a card that I can't believe I didn't have between the 1991 Upper Deck I opened as a kid and the trade over the past years of Earnest Byner. Really cool card, doesn't scan well though.
