Street Sense Heavy Favorite


The Travers Stakes is Saturday, August 25th, and will be televised as a two hour special on ESPN from 4-6 PM. Street Sense is the overwhelming favorite. The field is as follows:

Nobiz Like Showbiz


Nobiz Like Showbiz won his turf debut today at Saratoga for trainer Barclay Tagg. This is NBLS's second start since the Derby. In his previous start he finished second behind Any Given Saturday in the Dwyer Stakes. Read story below...

Retirement Party For Funny Cide


Saratoga will be having a retirement party for Funny Cide on August 10th. The festivities will include a poster giveaway and autograph signing by Racing Hall of Fame jockey Jose Santos; a post parade appearance by the 2003 Eclipse Award winner on the main track; a Rolex watch giveaway; and even a unique ice cream flavor named after the fan-favorite Thoroughbred.
