Saratoga
Me and Kara went to Saratoga on August 21st. The feature race that day was the Alabama for 3 year old fillies. Here are some of the pictures from that day:

Street Sense Heavy Favorite
The Travers Stakes is Saturday, August 25th, and will be televised as a two hour special on ESPN from 4-6 PM. Street Sense is the overwhelming favorite. The field is as follows:

Retirement Party For Funny Cide
Saratoga will be having a retirement party for Funny Cide on August 10th. The festivities will include a poster giveaway and autograph signing by Racing Hall of Fame jockey Jose Santos; a post parade appearance by the 2003 Eclipse Award winner on the main track; a Rolex watch giveaway; and even a unique ice cream flavor named after the fan-favorite Thoroughbred.
