Cute Little Dinosaur Card

 Hello Friends,

Before I show you my card, I wanted to tell you that Blogger is getting rid of the FeedBurner feature. This means that if you kindly subscribe to my blog by email-you will no longer receive those emails. Boo! This is set for a couple of months from now. But I looked at the emails and there seems to be only a handful of legit emails. So I am going to have this blog post be the last post emailed out. Thank you for subscribing! You can see all of my crafty makes either here, on my Iliketocutandpaste Facebook and Instagram accounts.

So here is this cute thank you card!

I used an echo park embossing folder.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. And this cute dinosaur is a print and cut from my Silhouette machine and the Silhouette Design Store. Here lately I am loving the option of printing and cutting things out. Shhh don't let my stamps and stickers find out ;)

And who can resist googly eyes?

Thank you for subscribing to my blog. I hope to see you in other outlets. :) Hugs!

I am submitting this card into the follow challenges:

Glow in the Dark Dinos

Hello Everybody!

It's my turn over at the Unique Laser Designs Blog to show you something fun you can do with their wood embellishments.  Are you ready?  ;)

I took an IKEA frame and decorated it with light modeling paste and these CUTE dinosaurs.

I used Lime Lime and Green Tea Gelatos mixed with the paste and a stencil from Dylusions.

The dinos will go in the spaces.  And I finish that corner too! ;)

Here are the dinosaurs in the various stages: top-natural wood, middle-gessoed, and the last one is painted with salty ocean distress paint from Tim Holtz.

Here are the other two painted with crushed olive and spiced marmalade distress paint.

Next I used Sparkle N Sprinkle's Glow in the Dark Embossing Powder for each dinosaur.  I used Versamark, covered, and heated like regular embossing powder.  I did this process twice to make sure there the whole dinosaur glowed.

So here is the frame when the lights are on...

And off...

Isn't that so cool!!  The shapes are so awesome that there is no denying those are dinosaurs!

Thank you for stopping by!  Until next time my friends...Roar! ;)

Cute Lil' Dinosaurs

Hello Everybody!

It's my turn over at Unique Laser Designs Blog and I made this scrapbook page featuring their cute dinosaurs!

For the dinosaurs I covered them in gesso.  But give them a second coat-otherwise you will see the streaks through the ink.

I used distress inks shabby shutters and salty ocean.  Then I applied versamark and clear embossing powder to the dinos.

I didn't get a good picture of the shiny embossing but you did get to see his new googly eye!

And this dino got a mustache and googly eye!  You can use your crop-a-dile to make a hole in the wood pieces.

Here is a close up of the top corner of my page.  I used mists and pastes on it.  Tim Holtz's star stencil-2nd time in a few days.  The tags I used different colors of distress ink and then I ran them through my crimper.  I saw someone else have tags like that-brilliant!  And yay I get to use my paper crimper!  The brads and ribbon are from My Mind's Eye-Abby Road.  (That's stash that has been around awhile!)

I used this week's sketch at Let's Get Sketchy for my layout.  So I am linking up with them.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Ya'll are all Dino-Mite!  :)  Oh PS-if you are looking for a super duper cute Father's Day card stop by the Unique Laser Design Blog.  Yesterday my teammate Michelle posted a couple of really cute projects for Dads.  :)
