Hello Everybody!
Tonight I made a card for the Just For Fun Challenge--Wild Wild West. I am also going to submit it to Scrapbookers Anonymous--Letter H Challenge because in the creative journey it turned into a Halloween card also!
Here's my card...Scroll down and I'll tell you what I did :)
Peek a boo! There's my cowboy! He's a sticker from Me and My Big Ideas. The letters are Making Memories. I made the saloon doors from my Slice. It's a bit moody because I had tried to make a cowboy hat and boots, and it just didn't make them right. So I let my moody Slice take the rest of the night off and this morning I cut the saloon doors because this idea had formed in my head. I think I made a better card because of it!
Here's the inside. I stamped the sentiment using a Making Memories Halloween stamp.
Until next time my friends...sometimes when things don't work right--they work better! :)

Let's Scrap Blog Hop Cards
Hello Everybody!
When the Let's Scrap Blog Hop first started my blog pal Kay Wallace said to get out those scraps because there are 50 hostesses in the Blog Hop. Now my collection of scraps is a bit daunting.
Yes this box is full, along with a small drawer and 2 12X12 accordian folders that are also full. But Kay is right...it is time to get this paper back into the light and start using it up!
So my first card is from the 4th stop on the hop:
Here's my card...
I put 2 flowers together and there is a button in the center. I embossed the red paper with a folder from Cuttlebug. The sentiment is heat embossed. The paper is from a Creating Keepsakes All in One Scrapbooking Kit from many moons ago. All scraps! All in that box!
So what I started to do to get a better handle on my scraps is that while I am waiting for a page to load, I have my scraps next to me and I kind of go through them and put together like papers. So I create a mini "kit" and when I got to craft most of the papers are picked out for the card.
My second card is from stop #32 (or LEAP32). Here is the sketch....
And here is my interpretation of the sketch. Same papers except the green is Bazzill cardstock and the yellow may be from another company as well. The gems are Kaiser and the flowers are from Prima. I have 1 left! Yay! I just need to find it a home ;) And the hello is cut from my Slice machine-Happy Trails.
So I am pretty excited about these cards. There's 2 and a half weeks left and I have made 4 cards out of 50. I'm gonna keep going. Hopefully I will report better numbers soon ;) I have made it over half of the way through the actual Blog Hop. I have 14 more spots to go--so if I haven't seen you yet, I will!
What's funny is I posted these cards in reverse order. The 2nd card I did first. I used scraps for the hellow card, then tried to use up the scraps from those scraps by making the thank you card. But now I just have smaller scraps. LOL! So you may see this color scheme again...don't be surprised ;)
Until next time my friends...conquer the Scraps!! Or at least try ;)

Bridal Shower 2 Page Layout
Hello Everybody!
I don't know about burning this midnight oil! LOL! I just finished a layout for Let's Scrap! Luckily, I have 1 extra hour since I am in the Eastern Time Zone...but still!
So here is the sketch from Let's Scrap!:
Here's Page 1. Both pages are built on a black cardstock and then the graphic paper in the middle is K.I. Memories. I used my Cricut cartridge Celebrations to make the presents. Sticko stickers are the letters for the title. And the bridal shower is a rub on from American Crafts (a little while back). The green paper under the Presents is Cricut Paper. Oh, and the bridal shower is on a doillie that is folded in half.
Page 2. The apron, oven mitt, and pot are from the Bon Apetit Slice cartridge.
Here is a picture of my layout as I was sorting it out. There aren't that many pictures because I was quite the busy bee in trying to get my layout done. :)
The slice didn't have a big enough shadow for my 4 inch (according to slice) apron, so I adhered it to the green cardstock and made my own shadow using scissors :)
There's a close up of my chicken scratch...uh journaling I mean... ;)

The layout is by Cheri O'Neill. So here is my take on the sketch. Now here's the deal. I don't normally scrap this many photos at one time. Then to have them all be vertical--nope. So I rotated both sides and moved the middle picture on the second page to the bottom. Something else I am not good at is taking pictures of my double layouts LOL! Here's the best I could do.

Tuesday Tidbit-Cowboys!
Hello Everybody!
Well I have news to share with you in case you didn't know! I have a Slice cutting machine. I was at Michael's today and the cartridges for the Slice were $4.99--no lie! I bought 5. :) But Making Memories isn't making that machine anymore--and that Making Memories is going out of business. If it isn't true-please let me know! In the meantime I will be stocking up on blades!
So I made a Valentine's Day card with one of my new Slice cartridges---Happy Trails. It's a Western cartridge. Now I am not at all a cowgirl, although I did learn a few country line dances back in the mid-90's when country was all the rage-but that doesn't make me a cowgirl by any stretch! But this cartridge is so fun!
So much fun that when I was done making my card, I realized that it fit into 2 challenges!
City Crafter Challenge Blog--#91 Back to Black-using silouttes--my cowboy
Moxie Fab--Die Cutting Challenge in the Moxie Fab World--my cowboy and howdy
There's still time to play Moxie Fab so come on! City Crafter ends in a little over an hour--so if you're quick you can still make it! ;)
Here's my card....Scroll on down, and I'll show you what I did!
I'll be honest--I love this card! I was just going to post it been I love it so much that I had to share it with a few challenges :) So here's my cool silouette cowboy from my new Slice collection. It's 1 of 5 so be prepared to see more!
My square is 3X2.2. I used this color box around the edges. It's a subtle difference.
I used embroidery floss here. It's the kind that goes from dark pink to light pink. Then I took a different piece and made a bow at the center.
These are Making Memories letters that I put on a piece of white cardstock. But then I used a pink dew drop to turn it pink. The white was to bright so the pink helped to soften it.
This litte heart puncher made all of those cute hearts!
And here we are again! A fun Valentine's Day card. The Tidbit for today is that you can find Valentine's in unsuspecting places! Until next time my friends...Yee Haw!
