Creative Stamping 52

When I was making the "rocking doggie" card I stamped a second background, actually I stamped this one first but the notes were upside down lol and it wouldn't work with the image I had picked out so I went with a different look. I also tried different colours and I think I prefer this colour combo.

Once I had decided on the image and sentiment the card came together really quickly, sometimes a card almost seems to make itself and this sort of happened here.

I am trying to use up all the backgrounds and/or images I colour, it is going to be a long process and might make my blog a little boring too as I seem to make the same card style a lot recently. Does anyone else get stuck in a creative rut like this? Surely I can't be alone? Can I?

Ingredients
Image and Sentiment: "creative stamping 52"
Background: "music" from kaisercraft, "twisted citroen" and "peacock feathers" Distress oxide ink

Rockin' Doggie

Before Birdie Brown designed for MFT she had an Etsy digistamp store and I bought quite a few images from her, the store closed a long time ago but her images are too cute not to use, so I am going to apologise in advance that this image is no longer available. I keep hoping that it is one that gets made into an MFT set but no sign so far.

Another simple card and along the same design principle as the silhouette cards I showed earlier this month, I had a bit of a run of blending inks in almost the same place so there might be more cards later on, of course that is if they ever get made into cards as I am notorious for not using everything I create and/or colour lol.

A remake or Sequel

Sympathy cards have to be the hardest to make and the one that can't wait until inspiration strikes, I needed a card this week and as time was of the essence I copied an older one of mine, I made this card after attending the MFT craft retreat and being inspired by one Jody had us make. I changed it up a bit as I didn't have all the elements she used and liked the new look, I now have everything she used but decided to follow my original instead.

Ingredients
Image: "wildflowers" stamps and dies by mft
Dies: blueprints 3, 1 and 13 all mft
Card: "steel blue" and " berrylicious" both mft
Backgrounds: "crackle" stamped in grout Gray on steel blue by Kaisercraft, "denim" stamped in Sno cone on berrylicious

Giddy Up Cowboy

I may have mentioned a few times how my family love western movies, I bought this stamp set originally to use for my mum but I decided that I would use it for my uncle instead. I had seen a few cards on pinterest I like and I have based the card on those, I haven't copied any one but taken elements from different ones to create this.

I stamped the background with my new woodgrain kaisercraft stamp, these are an absolute bargain and I have bought quite a few different ones. I wanted to create my own paper as I couldn't find one that went with the look I wanted, I think I will be doing this a lot more.

I decided to change the sentiment but forgot to take a picture before I went in the post. As no full sheets were harmed in the making of this card I am off for a play at the snippet playground.

Dies: circle stax, barbed wire, blueprint 3 and western charms all MFT

Stamping Bella Uptown Girls number 2

Not sure what happened but Mr Blogger decided to delete this post.

I have used another Stamping bella uptown girl for this card, I am loving colouring these at the moment which is just as well cos I have bought quite a few recently and only one has seen ink before.

I have used a stamp I bought on a crafty shopping trip with friends from the Bristol play day, had such a lot of fun too. I wasn't able to stay all day but next time I definitely will as it was so much fun. We went to Snazzy's in Swindon, well worth a visit and an Aladdin's cave of stamp goodness.
