Hoppy Holidays Card

Hello and happy Friday! It's the last day of July and I have a Christmas in July card to share. This Hoppy Holidays Card was made using the Snow Bunnies stamp set by Lawn Fawn which was last years STAMPtember exclusive at Simon Says Stamp. I adore bunnies, so I didn't hesitate to purchase this set. This was my first attempt using it and while I was making this card I talked myself into keeping it. That's a problem I have all too often. Anyway... I'll add it to my stash and maybe one day I'll give it away.

The images were colored with a mix of Copic and Stampin' Blends markers by Stampin' Up!. After coloring the images were die cut with the coordinating dies. The papers are from the Winter Wonderland paper pad by Doodlebug Designs and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Shiny Holidays Card

Wow! It's only six days until Christmas. I'm happy to report that we did go shopping and bought a few presents yesterday, but I'm far from done. It seems with each passing year I'm less enthused about shopping. My hubby is lucky if I go to the grocery store. Now... when it comes to shopping for stamps online there seems to be no problem. If only my family wanted stamps, I could handle that.

Last month I started a part-time seasonal manager position at Yankee Candle. I made two of this Shiny Holidays Card for the Store Manager and District Manager. I thought the candle image by Unity Stamps was perfect for the recipients. Copic markers were used to color the image. Only the green patterned paper is from a Christmas collection (Christmas Emporium by Graphic 45) the others are scraps from my scrap bin. Three gold sequins add some sparkle and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Candy Cane Bear Christmas Card

July is almost over and I wanted to make at least one Christmas card for all the Christmas in July challenges. I decided to rescue an image that I printed too large last year. This cute Candy Cane Bear image is by Bugaboo Digi Stamps and I colored the image with my Copic markers. I sacrificed a big portion of the worded patterned paper to make the candy cane words fit just right at the bottom of the card. Then I decided to add a strip of blue polka dot paper to add some color. The Candy Cane paper is from The Paper Studio and the Happy Holidays sentiment is by Stampabilities. The cardstock colors are Crumb Cake and Real Red by Stampin' Up!. I added a little sparkle red circle with a sparkle white brad next to the sentiment to add some detail. That's about it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Happy Holidays Card

Wow! I can't believe it's the last hour in the month of November. The month really did seem to fly by. I wanted to share a quick and easy Holiday card I put together. There is nothing fancy about this design, but it works. All you need is a nice patterned paper, image stamp, and sentiment stamp and you'll have the ingredients to make a handmade Holiday/Christmas card. The ornament on this Happy Holidays Card was heat embossed using a red glitter embossing powder and accented with rhinestones for sparkle. The supplies for the card were purchased last year at Hobby Lobby. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Snowflake Holiday Card

When it comes to card making I love using patterned paper, stamping, and embellishments.  Keeping a card one layer and casual can be a challenge for me.  This Snowflake Holiday Card was made using one layer and I kept it simple.  This is my first one layer card.  I'm entering it in the CASology challenge.  The challenge is to make a card using the cue word: happy.

Snowflake Holiday Card Supplies: White cardstock, black dye ink, snowflake stamp by studio g, Happy Holidays sentiment stamp by Stampabilities (swirly happy holidays, DR1138), Copic marker (B02), Ice Stickles in Arctic Ice, and rhinestones.

While I was busy posting my card, my cute crafting buddy was sunning himself next to my desk.  He doesn't have to work very hard to look this cute.  Have a wonderful Saturday!
