Llama Birthday Card

Happy Friday! My hubby is still off work recovering from his second knee replacement, so my crafting time has been minimal. He has one more week off work and then I'm hoping things get back to "normal." I really miss my alone time!

Over the last several days I've been working on this Llama Birthday Card. The colors were selected from the Inky Paws Challenge to use: mint, plum, green and lilac. The image is from the Loveable Llamas stamp set by Newton's Nook and it was colored with a mix of Copic and Stampin' Blends markers. Some grass was cut using the Land Borders die set by Newton's Nook. After cutting some banners and stamping the sentiment everything was assembled and adhered flat. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

Wooly Lucky Card - TMS #545

Welcome back! Another Tuesday has arrived and that means the start of another sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This week we have a tall & skinny sketch for you to try. I've seen a lot of tall & skinny cards posted lately and thought it would be fun to mix things up a little. I hope you will try the sketch and join us this week! Click HERE for all the challenge details and design team inspiration.

St. Patrick's Day is only a week away and I usually make a couple of cards for this occasion. This Wooly Lucky Card features an image from Simon Says Stamp and it was colored with Copic markers. The shamrock paper is from The Paper Studio and the green polka dot is retired from Stampin' Up! Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Loveable Llama Birthday Card

Hello! For the next couple of weeks Inky Paws is celebrating their 100th challenge. It's fun to look back and I found the first time I played along and it was challenge #32, you can see that card HERE. For the celebration you can pick your favorite color, sketch and theme challenges and play them again. For this Loveable Llama Birthday Card I picked challenge #54 to use polka dots. I love to use polka dots and decided to ink one of my newer stamp sets called Loveable Llamas by Newton's Nook. The images were colored with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. Three sequins were added for sparkle and a small butterfly from the Newton's Birdbath stamp set. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Llama Christmas Card

Hello and happy Friday! If you live in the United States, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. After spending time with family and traveling back home I wanted to make a card for the Inky Paws color challenge before it ends. I decided to use the Llama Delivery stamp set by Newton's Nook to make this Llama Christmas Card. The images were colored with Copic markers and then die cut with the coordinating dies. A piece of snowflake vellum was die cut with an oval die and adhered to the fun plaid paper. Two green presents and a North Pole sign (from the Santa Paws Newton stamp set) add a little more detail. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the retired Snow Place stamp set by Stampin' Up! and some stickles was added under the Llama to add sparkle to the "snow." That's it! I have the early shift today at work so it's off to bed for me. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous day!
