Wooly Lamb Easter Card

Last month I bought some adorable vintage children's playing cards from the 1960's. My intent was to use them in making Easter cards, but somehow they were pushed to the back of my crafting table and forgot about. Luckily, I was cleaning my creative mess yesterday and I created this Wooly Lamb Easter Card with one of the playing cards. The design comes from this weeks sketch at Sketchy Friday. I really struggled with the papers and colours for this card but it turned out okay. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Welcome to the Neighborhood

Thank goodness it's Saturday! I've enjoyed a lazy morning hanging out in my craft room. My hubby volunteered to help build a house for Habitat for Humanity this morning, so it was nice and quiet. I figured he could help build the house and I would make a card for the new homeowners. This Welcome to the Neighborhood Card was made using this weeks sketch at Sketchy Friday. I used the Bird House with Two Birds digital image from SKdigis and I coloured it with my Copic markers. The patterned papers are from American Crafts and the flower brads are from The Paper Studio. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Pot of Gold St. Patrick's Card

Hello! I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday. I have a quick post to share this Pot of Gold St. Patrick's Card made for the Sketchy Friday challenge. The image and sentiment is from SKdigis Shop and I used my Copics to colour them. Halfway through making my card I almost scraped it. I don't like the horizontal white stripes in the background! I didn't want to cover up the rainbow stripes, but I wanted to follow the sketch. A creative dilemma! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Patterned Bunnies Easter Card

This year Easter falls on the last Sunday in March, that gives me a good seven weeks to get my cards in the mail. Last night I found a sketch from the Sketchy Friday Challenge that inspired this Patterned Bunnies Easter Card. It just so happened that I received a shipment of Stampin' Up! product in the mail and I couldn't wait to ink up this cute patterned bunny stamp. I LOVE using spring colours and this was just the card to use the Subtles Designer Series Paper. There is only one problem with this card! Any ideas? Well, the problem is I LOVE it sooo much I probably won't be able to give it away.

Patterned Bunnies Easter Card Supplies*:
  • Paper: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, and Wild Wasabi card stock, and Subtles Designer Series Paper in Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, and Perfect Plum.
  • Stamps: Ears to You (patterned bunnies) stamp, Language of Friendship stamp set, and Teeny Tiny Wishes.
  • Inks: Classic stampin' pads in Baja Breeze and Perfect Plum. Stampin' write marker in Certainly Celery.
  • Other Stuff: Boho Blossoms punch, Bird Builder Punch (leaves), Oval punch, Word Window punch, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Baja Breeze, Pearl Basic Jewels, and dimensionals all by Stampin' Up! and decorative corner punch by Creative Memories.
