Inspirational Trip To Lake Tahoe

DAY TRIP TO LAKE TAHOE... It is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada, one of the largest alpine lake that lies between the border California and Nevada.  The lake was formed about 2 million years ago, known for the clarity of its water and the panaroma of surrounding mountains on all sides. Lake Tahoe is a major tourist attraction, home to winter sports, summer outdoor recreation and scenery enjoyed throughout the year.  

This is my second visit to Lake Tahoe and am still mesmerized by the tranquility of the beautiful and serene blue water with mountains on every side.  Popularly known as an inspiration point and one of the best spots to stop and take in view of Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Vikingholm Caste among others... Our journey took around 2 hours or so and it is really a trip worth going....

Strolling Along Lake Tahoe Town, California

WE PARKED OUR CAR AT THE HURRAH'S CASINO... and from there, we walked along the streets of North Lake Lahoe...

Along the main road... mainly tourists and resorts...

Wanted to try the carriage...

But ended up giving her a pat only....

Here we are.... Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel...

And we could go up to the mountains via the cable cars just looming nearby... 

But since we were not going to ski, we didn't go up... hehehee...

Chocolate Factory... where I got a few chunks and bite them off while walking!

That's the last post for Lake Tahoe....

Only a day trip and we reached home almost 9pm ....

Fallen Leaf Lake Campground, California

NEXT WE STOPPED AT FALLEN LEAF LAKE... a campground and resort for locals and tourists... it has a narrow road in and out and most of the houses were up on the hills overlooking the lake...

Fir trees all around... a very secluded spot for those who loves peace and quiet...

Where the man or lady spent the holiday in a small secluded area...

And then something happened... suspense then broke lose... 

hahahaha...

                       Soon..... we made a detour to continue our journey into Lake Tahoe town...

                                And we parked our car here at this Harrahs Casino.... 

Emerald Bay Up North Lake Tahoe

ANOTHER ONE MORE STOP AT EMERALD BAY ON THE WAY UP NORTH...  There was one point where both lakes were visible on each side.... there isn't any barricades whatsoever on the sides..... the driver got to be REALLY good.... One wrong turn on the steering wheel, it will be "Sayonara" there and then....... hahaha...  

I should have taken a picture of the dangerous turning but at that moment of time, I dare not think of anything else except *please... fast fast pass through* ...

Nearly... and I said again.. 

It nearly took my breath away...

Just too beautiful not to take any pictures..... with my usual V...
