Glowforge: una impresora 3D sorprendente

Ayer descubrí un producto nuevo, nuevo, nuevo, que me dejó con la boca abierta y que no podía dejar de compartir con vosotros. Es sorprendente

A pesar de que me gusta todo lo manual y lo "homemade" debo reconocer que las nuevas  tecnologías me apasionan y que diariamente ponen a nuestro alcance nuevas herramientas que, lejos de ir en contra,  favorecen y activan nuestra creatividad.

Uno de esos casos son las impresoras 3D. Las hay de diversos tipos y hoy quiero que  conozcáis la Glowforge. 

No os imagináis lo que puede llegar a hacer este "trastito" de recentísima creación. Trabaja con papel, cartón , tela, piel y una docena más de materiales y permite personalizar objetos con imágenes, crear con líneas curvas,  gravar, troquelar y construir en tres dimensiones. 

Pero como yo no soy buena explicando como funciona la tecnología y una imagen vale más que mil palabras, para que entendáis bien como funciona mirad con atención este vídeo y luego decidme que no es una maravilla.

This is a brand new product that I discovered yesterday while I was surfing the internet and I don'tt want to loose the opportunity of sharing it with you. It's amazing.

Althought I love crafting and everything related to homemade I must confess that the new technologies offer wonderful new tools day after day and that  they help  us to be more creative.

One of these new devices is the 3D printer. There are so many types and today I would like to introduce to you the Glowforge.

You can't imagine all the things it can do. It can print on paper, cardboard, fabric and dozens more materials. It uses a beam of light the width of a human hair to cut, engrave and shape designed in 3d from a variety of materials.

I'm not good at explaining how technology works, so it's better if you watch this video because a picture is worth a thousand words.

Qué pena saber que ni los Reyes Magos ni Papá Noël existen porque a bien seguro esta impresora estaría en la primera línea de mi lista de deseos. Conocéis Origrami? - Do you know Origrami?

Tengo que reconocer que desde que abrí mi perfil en Instagram, ésta se ha convertido en mi red social preferida. Me parece fresca, divertida, rápida, hay muchísimo feedback y además sigo a gente que hace unas fotos maravillosas.

Me gusta compartir mi vida en Instagram , así que en poco tiempo he acumulado una cantidad de fotos considerable. No todas ellas son buenas, ni mucho menos, pero de vez en cuando hay alguna que dices: ole tu!

¿No os gustaría tener impresas algunas de vuestras mejores fotos de Instagram ? ¿Conocéis origrami? Se trata de una página australiana que por un módico precio (19,95€) y con el envío gratuito imprime 36 de tus fotos (las que tu elijas) en formato polaroid, las meten en una cajita monísima y te las envían a casa.

I must confess that since I opened my profile on Instagram, this is my favorite social network. It's fresh, funny, quick and there is so much feedback... Ahh and I follow people who make wonderful pictures.

I love to share my life on Instagram so, in a very little time I hace a good collection of photos. Not all are good, but sometimes there's someone that you say: Ohhh yes!

bienvenida primavera 2013 - welcome Spring 2013

Cada año me pasa igual. En cuanto el calendario se planta en el mes de marzo deseo... bueno qué digo deseo...? NECESITO que llegue la primavera... ¡YA!

Através del blog Environments dreamers (no dejéis de visitarlo) he tenido conocimiento de esta iniciativa "bloggera" y entendí que no podía hacer nada más que apuntarme. ¡Me encantó la idea!

¿En qué consiste?

Bien... Se trata de dedicar un post a la Primavera el día 21 de Marzo . Desde cualquier punto de vista... no importa cuál... y así crearemos un "meeting virtual" de blogs y por ende de bloggers. 

Una manera maravillosa de descubrir otros blogs y rendir homenaje a la llegada de la estación del "renacimiento".

Through the blog Environments dreamers (do not fail to visit it) I have been aware of this lovely blogger initiative  and I understood that I could not do anything but sign up. I loved the idea!

mis momentos en Instagram -- my instants in Instagram

La vida está fabricada de pequeños momentos. Instantes que pasan casi desapercibidos y que como pequeñas piezas de un puzzle construyen poco a poco nuestras vidas

La aplicación para i-phone y i-pad Instagram permite capturar y compartir todos esos momentos contruyendo una especie de cuaderno de bitácora visual. Puedes seguir a otros que tienen los mismos intereses que tu ( o completamente distintos!) y compartir fotografías...algunas espléndidas (que no es mi caso, pero lo cierto es que hay algunos fotógrafos realmente brillantes).

Life is made of little moments. Moments that pass almost unnoticed and like small pieces of our life's puzzle

The i-phone and i-pad application  Instagram  allows to collect and share all those moments as a kind of visual logbook. You can follow others who have the same interests as you (or completely different ones!) and share some splendid photographs ... (which is not my case, but you'll find really brilliant photographers).
