Guest Chick for the Krafty Chicks Challenge - Christmas

 


I'm back today with another Guest Chick card for the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog and this week's theme is Christmas.

To make my card for this week I used:

- Build a Snowman stamp set from Clearly Besotted

GDT Card for 4 Crafty Chicks - Clean and Simple


I can't believe this is my last GDT card for the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge Blog - where did April go?!!

The optional theme for today's challenge is 'clean and simple' and you can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

I've used the 'Just for You' stamp from Clear Stamp Boutique here and I also used the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment stamp which is here.

I coloured the stamped image with Promarkers and then used my score board to score a line round the card and 1cm.  The card I've used is from Bazzill.

GDT Card for 4 Crafty Chicks - Graduation


This is my third challenge as a GDT member for the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge and this week's optional theme is 'graduation'.  All the details about the challenge plus inspiration from the regular Design Team is here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used one of the images from a digi set called 'Graduation Day Value Set 1' from Imagine That Digistamps - you can find the set here on their website.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used one of the sentiments from the set.  The paper I've used is from Stampin' Up and Craft Creations.

GDT Card for 4 Crafty Chicks - Raining Cats'n'Dogs


This is my second card as this month's Guest Designer on the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge Blog.  The theme for this week's challenge is 'raining cats'n'dogs' and you can find all the details and inspiration here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used a digi stamp from Pink Gem Deisgns called 'Chloe in the Rain' which you can find here on their website.

I coloured the digi stamp with Promarkers and added a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

The papers I've used are from a Pebbles Pad and I also used some black paper from Craft Creations.

GDT Card for 4 Crafty Chicks - Flowers


Today I'm very excited to be joining the girls at 4 Crafty Chicks as a Guest Designer for April:


Today's challenge is hosted by Leanne and the theme is 'flowers'.

For my card I've used a digi stamp from Twinkle Lane Designs called 'Single Poppy' which you can find here in their Etsy shop.  I coloured the image with Promarkers.  The sentiment comes with the main image.

The backing paper I've used is from the 'Poppies' digi paper pack also from Twinkle Lane Designs which is here in their Etsy shop.

I've layered the card with papers from Craft Creations and finished it with some red gems.

GDT Card for 4 Crafty Chicks - F is for Food


This is my third GDT card for the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge Blog and this week's theme is 'F is for food'.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

This is also my weekly inspiration card for Imagine That Digis by Kris and appears on the Imagine That blog here.

For this week's card I've used one of the images from 'Wedding Day' digi stamp set which you can find here on the Imagine That website.  I coloured the image with Promarkers.

The paper I've used is from a Paper Cellar wedding pad and I've added a Dovecraft doily behind my image which I die cut with one of my stitched circle dies from Memory Box.  Finally I've added a silver layer behind the pink paper and some self adhesive pearls.

GDT Card for 4 Crafty Chicks - Scenic


Today I'm very excited to be joining the ladies on the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge with my first card as a GDT member for April.



The theme for this week's challenge is 'scenic' and I've made my card using the reverse masking technique.  I've used a mixture of Distress and Adirondack ink pads with some Brilliance Ink as my last layer.  I also coloured the moon with my clear Wink of Stella pen.

The stamp I've used is called is called 'Silhouette  Elephants' from LC Designs available here.

GDT for 4 Crafty Chicks - Humour


This is my final GDT card for the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge - a big thank you to the ladies for asking me to join you over the past month!  The theme for this week is 'humour' and you can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

As soon as I saw the 'humour' theme, I thought of Dr Digi's House of Stamps and this digi which I used recently to make a bathroom door sign.  It's called 'Bath Time Deirdery' - you can find her here on the Dr Digi website.  

I've kept the rest of the card very simple, colouring the image with Promarkers, and have just added a computer generated sentiment.

GDT Card for 4 Crafty Chicks - Inspiration Photo


This is my GDT card for this week's new 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge and this time there's an inspiration photo as a challenge prompt:

When I looked at the photo, I saw the kitten and the pink colour at the front of the picture so those are the two elements I used.  I've used the 'Kitty With Bow' digi stamp from Inky Impressions which is here on their website and paper from a Papermania pad.

GDT Card for 4 Crafty Chicks - Cabin Fever


This is my second GDT project for the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge Blog and this week the theme is 'cabin fever'.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used the wonderful 'Splishing and Splashing' from Little Claire - it's available here as a digi.  I've paper pieced the umbrella to match the rest of the image and used one of my favourite colour combinations of pink and kraft.
