New Beautiful Blossoms Challenge - Anything Goes Floral/Optional Mood Board

I decided to make a card with the focus on some beautiful patterned paper I re-discovered recently when I was looking for something else!  It's from half a sheet of Basic Grey 12 by 12 paper and I cut it into squares which I layered on to white card.  I then added a stamped sentiment from Stampin' Up.

The paper reminded me of the photos on the board and my layout was influenced by the different shapes on the mood board.

To make my card I used the stamp set and one of the papers from Issue 5 of the Crafter's Inspiration magazine from Crafter's Companion.

I stamped the flowers using black Memento ink and then coloured the image with my Promarkers.

I die cut the stamped and coloured panel with a die from Stampin' Up and added one of the sentiments with black Versafine ink.

I took the colours from the mood board and I'm sharing a card I made at a recent Stampin' Up class using the dies from the 'Thoughtful Wishes' bundle.  The white base layer is embossed and then I added an extra layer of coloured card.  The sentiment is also from Stampin' Up.

I decided to use the colour palette in the bottom left hand corner of the picture as my inspiration and I made a CAS card.
