New Girlz Creative Christmas Challenge - Christmas Stockings

 

It's time for a new challenge today on the Girlz Creative Christmas Challenge Blog.

The theme for this week's challenge is 'Christmas stockings'.  You can find all the details and see the cards from the rest of the team here on the challenge blog.

To make my card I used:

- Stocking Die Set from Dreamees

- papers from Stampin' Up

- stitched scalloped die from Stampin' Up

- card and peel off sentiment from Craft Creations

As I used left over pieces of paper to die cut the stocking and make my background, I'm entering my card in the current challenge at the Snippets Playground Blog here.

New Cardz 4 Girlz Challenge - Pink and Pearly

There's a new challenge today on the Cardz 4 Girlz Challenge Blog and this week it was my turn to choose the theme.  I've gone for 'pink and pearly' - you can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

I've made something a bit different for my card - no Promarkers in sight!  I've used a stamp from Dreamees and a pearl embellishment strip.  I've cut single pearls to go in the centre of the two flowers on the side of the card.

For my card I've used a stamp from Dreamees called 'Jingle Bells' which you can find here on their website.  I've die cut it with a stitched circle die and then matted this on to a scalloped pale blue die cut.  The snowflakes are also die cut and I've added some Card Candi and gems to finish the card.

For my card I've used the 'Deck the Halls' stamp from Dreamees which is here on their website.  I've embossed the words using gold embossing powder, layered on to gold paper and then used Lili of Valley paper for my background.

For my card I've used the kit that was e-mailed to me earlier this month by Dreamees as part of my membership.  I've used the two papers from the download and also the uncoloured version of the hearts digi - I've coloured it with Promarkers.  The sentiment was also part of the download and I've die cut it with one of my X Cut label dies.

For my card I've used a stamp from Dreamees called 'Reindeer' which you can find here on their website.  The sentiment and little snowflake border are part of the same set.  The papers I've used are from the Forever Friends Christmas paper pack and I've added snowflakes punched with two different sizes punches.

Deck the Halls

I treated myself to several Dreamees Christmas stamps when I was at the Port Sunlight show recently and this is the first of them that I've tried.

This one is called 'Deck the Halls' and you can find it here on the Dreamees website.  I've used it with some Lili of the Valley paper that I've had for a while - I thought it was perfect to go with this stamp.
