New Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes/Use Some Gold

It's Saturday so that means a new challenge on Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Blog and this week it's anything Christmas goes with the option to use some gold.

Head over to the challenge blog here for more details and to see some inspiration from the rest of the team.

Here's another view of my card:

To make my card I used a snowflake die from Sweet Dixie Designs with some gold paper.

I die cut two snowflakes and added a stamped sentiment from Stampin' Up.

I layered the card using black and gold paper and added some black gems to complete it.

New Inspiration Station Challenge - Star Light Star Bright

There's a new challenge today on the Inspiration Station Challenge Blog and here is the photo to inspire you:

We want you to make something inspired by the photo AND tell us how you were inspired.

For more information and to see the cards from the rest of the team, have a look here on the challenge blog.

And we are also having a DT call - all the details are in the challenge post.

I used a star die from Sweet Dixie on some sparkly rainbow paper from Stampin' Up.  I concentrated on the blue and purple section using one of the stars in the photo for this part of the card.

Then I matted the star on to black paper to match the photo.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

New My Time to Craft Challenge - Die Cuts Only

Today I'm sharing my first card as a member of the Design Team for the My Time to Craft Challenge Blog - a big thank for Shell for asking me to join the team there!

The theme for today's new challenge is 'die cuts only' - all the details are here on the challenge blog.

I decided to use a Sweet Dixie die I bought recently - this one is called 'Filigree Star'.  I kept my card very simply using silver card for the die cut and the bottom layer.  The little silver gems I've used are from Stampin' Up.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge - 'anything goes'
Corrosive Challenges - 'anything goes'
Crafting With Dragonflies - 'star struck'
