New Love to Craft Challenge - Anything Goes

 


Today I'm sharing my DT card for the new Love to Craft Challenge Blog.


I have just taken over management of this challenge blog from Leslie and am looking forward to working with both the existing team members and the new team members that are joining us for the first time today.

Challenges are every other month and last for six weeks - the theme is always 'anything goes'.

I've used a digi stamp from a very cute set from Last Minute Manda called 'Valentine Benny Bear Sketch Set' which you can find here in the online shop.

I'm sharing a concertina card I made at a recent Zoom class with Stampin' Up Demonstrator Fanny Stafford.

The first photo (above) shows the front of the card and this second photo (below) shows the card fully opened out:

All of the products we used on the class are from Stampin' Up.

I'm sharing another of the cards I made for the recent Create and Craft TV show by The Card Hut showcasing the new Mark Bardsley CD rom and USB:


I've used another of the flat images and some of the paper generated by the software to go with it.

I've layered with black and red paper - all the other paper and card I've used is from Craft Creations.

I'm sharing another of the cards I made for last month's Card Hut show on Create and Craft.  The stamp I've used is from the 'Berries' set which is part of the Charlotte Eleanor Designs Flora and Fauna Collection:

I've made another card using a topper and patterned paper from Making Cards magazine, matting the image with some navy blue card.

I used a stamp from Stampin' Up for the sentiment and die cut this with a label die from John Next Door.

To make my card I've used the new Traditional Touch stamp set from the Touch of Christmas series by The Card Hut.

I stamped the holly leaves four time using my stamping platform to create wreath pattern.

Then I coloured the holly with Promarkers and added some green and red card to finish the card.

I'm sharing a card I made recently for one of The Card Hut TV shows on Create and Craft.  

This set is called Autumn Leaf Fairy and it's available here as part of the Seasonal Fairy Stamp Bundle designed by Linda Ravenscroft.

I created the background by stamping one of the leaves from the set and then coloured the main image with Promarkers,

To make my card I've used another of the toppers and matching papers from the latest issue of Making Cards magazine.

I layered the topper with black paper and used a stamped sentiment from Stampin' Up before finishing the card with some black gems.

I'm sharing another GDT card for Twinkle Lane Designs using one of their recent new release images.  This one is called Sunflower Bouquet:

I also used two of the designs from the Sunny Sunflowers digi paper pack:

I coloured the main image with Promarkers and layered the design with some Stampin' Up cardstock and some ribbon from my stash.  I finished the card with some black outline sticker sentiments.

New Love to Craft Challenge Blog - Anything Goes


A new challenge has started today on the Love to Craft Challenge Blog and our theme is anything goes.  Head over to the challenge blog here for all the details and lots of inspiration from the Design Team.

I am sharing another of the cards I made for the recent Card Hut show on Create and Craft.

The show introduced the Garden Sheds stamp collection and this particular stamp set is called 'Home Made' - it's available here on the Card Hut website.

I stamped the main image and also a panel with the smaller stamps in the set.  I coloured them all with Promarkers and used paper from a First Edition Christmas pad and Craft Creations.
