12 Days of Christmas - Gift Card Holders

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! Well, not yet, but there are 6 MORE DAYS 'till Christmas!!!  I've been a crazy holiday craft machine.  I've been stocking my Etsy shop since October with holiday cards, tags, and other paper products.  Now with 12 days left until Christmas, I thought that I would share the best sellers here on my blog. :) I'll be posting once per day until the 25th!

Happy 12 Days of Christmas!

On the 6th day of Christmas I created some gift card holders!

Gift card holders are always a huge seller.  I made close to 2 dozen and they all sold out quickly.

I'm a fan of the belly band!  Stamp is from a retired Stampin Up set called Tags til Christmas. I got great  use out of this set over the years.

Here is another style.  I also made these with penguins, snowmen, and reindeer on the front.  I used the retired Stampin Up stamp set called No Peeking.

Hope you liked my 6th installment of The 12 Days of Christmas! See you tomorrow!

New Challenge at Lia Stampz - Upcycle or Recycle

We want to see your upcycled or recycled projects this fortnight at Lia Stampz!

Here is my project:

I recycled a used tea tin from Lupicia.

I used the digi called Christmas Flower. I inked it up with copics, cut it out, and popped it up on the top.  I covered the tin with designer paper. Easy peasy!

August Paper Pumpkin

I am in LOVE with Stampin Up's Paper Pumpkin monthly kits.  So are my subscribers!!!

Every month I make them a free re-usable card.  Here is August's:

This was a CASE by See Julie Stamp!

August also marks the 6 month mark for my gals who have subscribed from the beginning!  To thank them, I made them a stamp case:

I used Eastern Elegance paper.

And it fits all of our stamps that we've gotten so far!

Here is a video of August's kit!

Paper Pumpkin is so so so so sooooo much fun. I've been loving all the kits we've been getting. And I am seriously in love with all my exclusive stamps.  Because they come monthly, I feel like they have a hipper and fresher vibe that goes with the season or the month that we get it.  :)

A new Challenge at Party Time Tuesdays!

There's a new challenge at PTT this week!  This time, make something other than a card!

Robyn's Fetish graciously sent me this cute little mummy digi to use in my project today.  I decided to shrink him down for easy Halloween tags.

Colored him slightly with a skin colored Copic marker and a grey marker for some shadows.

Layered him with a couple of Stampin Up punches onto some Robin's Nest glitter paper.  Tied it with some linen thread to Stampin Up's cellophane candy bags.  Some Reese's Pieces turns this treat into a fun Halloween candy wand!

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

P.S. I'll be back TOMORROW! :D

Ginger Snap Scraps Back 2 School Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Back To School Blog Hop with the Ginger Snap Scraps Design Team!

This weekend we will be featuring projects all about Back To School. Can you believe school has started!? We hope you enjoy all of the great work this Design Team has done and find some inspiration.

I don't have any children so I made a bookmark for myself. LOL. All it took was a little cardstock and a small piece of paper,   I followed this YouTube tutorial to make a minion bookmark (from Despicable Me).

Just a couple of circle punches, a border punch for the teeth, and a marker makes a minion!

He cracks me up the way he looks like he's eating pages!

Now for some blog candy! We are giving away 2 $10 gift cards to Ginger Snap Scraps!

Bubble Gum Party Favors

I made some bubble gum party favors for a very special gal!  I needed a lot and they needed to be quick with an orange and brown theme.  I came across Angi Judas Bunny Treat Holder and used the same concept, but had to adjust the sizes to fit the bubble gum.  Here's what I came up with:

Used SU framelit die and scored the card stock to fit some Bubble Yum.  I just used a circle punch with some retired SU paper and computer generated sentiment punched out with the modern label punch.  Some retired orange ribbon tops it off.

Mmmm, BUBBLE YUM!  LOL.

Crabby Patty Portfolio

Hey guys!  I'm participating in a beach bash themed BNR this week and wanted to contribute something beachy.  I wanted to make some note cards with some laser die cuts I had so I started trolling the internet to find some ideas of housing them.  I stumbled upon Mandy's Stampin' Spot and CASED her crab.  He's so stinkin' cute! I put him on a notecard portfolio:

Cardstock, ink, ribbon by Stampin Up.  Cuttlebug swiss dot and swirls and curls embossing folders.

The inside houses 4 note cards, envelopes, and sentiment so the recipient can customize their card!

Saturday Stampin Class!

On Saturday I had my 1st June Stampin Class (this Saturday is my 2nd!).  I have to split my classes into two because I live in a tiny place and my dining table can only house 4 people.  Just wanted to show you the pictures cause we made a lot of cute stuff!

Me and my gal pals.  That's my bestie on the left. :) First time crafting for her.

We made a simple 2-4-6-8 box.  Filled with chocolates, of course!

More candy! LOVE these cello bags from SU!

We watercolored a bit and did the crinkle ribbon thing...

This CAS card gets a ka-pow! with the super 3D flower.

Something a little more masculine so that gals could use it as a Father's Day card, if they wanted.

So that's it for the Saturday Stampin Class!  I'll post more pictures for the next one. :) 'Till next time!

New Challenge at Party Time Tuesday - All Things Mechanical

There's a new challenge over at PTT! Our theme this week is "All Things Mechanical."  We are generously sponsored this week by The Robin's Nest (who mailed the DT some yummy papers and embellies, including lots of Dew Drops!), The Stamping Boutique, and Robyn's Fetish.

Here's my project using a digi from The Stamping Boutique:

Inked the image up with Copics.  Background paper and dew drop headlights by The Robin's Nest.  Cardstock by SU.

I wanted to add something stationery-like that was a little on the masculine side to my Etsy shop, so I turned this into a notepad holder. :)

Last day of school treats

Yesterday was the last day of school!  I wanted to sent my 6th graders off with a small treat.  My friend (who is an after school advisor), came up with a similar concept for her high schoolers.  :) I decided to scraplift her idea (thanks, Tehani!)

Just some Swedish fish in a bag and a quick printed topper.  If I had more time I would've added a hand crafted element, but these did the trick (they only tear it open right away, anyway!)

'Till next time!

May RAKs and Winner of the Mother's Day hop!

Whew!  This past week was not only busy, busy, busy, but I also caught a cold.  Yikes!  I still managed to make it to work this week, but ended up trying to sleep off my ickiness the rest of the time.  Can you believe I didn't make anything crafty in about a week and a half?! My fingers are getting itchy!

Anywho, here are some RAKs I received this month. :) I got a lot of happy mail for my blogaversary!  Love these ladies!

This one is from Shar from My Time to Create.  She used her new Cameo!

She made this cute envelope too... and it had HELLO KITTY STAMPS IN IT!!!  wheee! Thanks girl!

This one is from Diana of DL.Art.  Love the shabby chic colors and that yummy twine.

This one is from Shirl of Creations by Shirl.   Always love getting her cards in the mail.  This chickadee is too cute!

This one is from Susan of Cricut and Grasshopper.  Love the fold of this card! Plus she sent me a bunch of yummies from Minnesota.  I ate them all so no pictures of them.  LOL.

Lori from Reflections from Granny made this cutie card. It had so much dimension!

And this was in her package too!!!  How insanely cute is this?! :) I didn't even realize my name was in the middle! It's now up in my craft room. :) Thanks girlie!

And last, but not least, is this calendar made by Cyndi of Strawberries n' Cream. Love my starlet self! :) She even sent me a few mini calendars for me to play with. :D

I'm so blessed to call these ladies friends.  They are so generous and SO talented.  Thank you again for being a part of my blogaversary. :)

And without further ado, the winner from last weekend's Mother's Day blog hop:

#14 FAITH, HOPE, AND CHERRY TEA!!!

Congratulations! I've sent you a message!
