Bubble Gum Party Favors

I made some bubble gum party favors for a very special gal!  I needed a lot and they needed to be quick with an orange and brown theme.  I came across Angi Judas Bunny Treat Holder and used the same concept, but had to adjust the sizes to fit the bubble gum.  Here's what I came up with:

Used SU framelit die and scored the card stock to fit some Bubble Yum.  I just used a circle punch with some retired SU paper and computer generated sentiment punched out with the modern label punch.  Some retired orange ribbon tops it off.

Mmmm, BUBBLE YUM!  LOL.

Teacher's Appreciation - Day 4

Today's small gift to the co-workers was a pack of Trident gum:

Just did a simple wrap around the gum.  Just cut the paper to size, wrap, and adhere with something strong.  I used Sticky Strip.

A ribbon, a computer generated corny pun, and some Stampin Up punches finished it off.  Easy!

Tomorrow is the last of the teacher's gifts! Don't forget to thank a teacher this week!  And stay tuned this weekend for:

See you there/here!

Birthday Gum Holder

So I made a couple of these gum holders for a couple of birthdays this month (Hi Shar and Diana!)  There weren't any blogs around that had dimensions of a holder that would fit the extra large square Extra gum, so I just made one myself.  It took a lot of trial and error, and I'm sorry to say, that I FORGOT TO WRITE THE DIMENSIONS DOWN!  Wanted to kick myself! LOL!

The party emoticon was made with Smiley Cards on my Gypsy.

The sentiment says, "if you are what you eat, eat something cute!"  Held it together with velcro.

'Till next time folks!  And happy belated birthday to all my fellow August babies!

This post is all about gratitude.  I made some thank you gifts for the gals that helped me out during my first weeks at my new job.

Orbit Gum Holders.  These are from myself and another new girl.  Lol, she bought the gum and I prettied them up!  Everything is SU!

This one was for a friend that works in a school where I was having training.  Couldn't visit her empty-handed! Just very simply wrapped with SU! ribbon and stamp that was punched out.

And last but not least:

Isn't it so cute?

Diana is a really talented artist and she made these to giveaway to her followers.  The papers are gorgeous and she used Peachy Keen stamps to decorate.  Thanks so much, Diana!

More Teacher's Appreciation Projects

Whew!  What a week of projects!  More teacher's appreciation projects the past couple of days and in the next few, I'll show you my Mother's Day projects. :)

To thank the teachers that let us Girl Scouts use their rooms, I made some of these Orbit gum holders.  The school made each day this week (for teacher's appreciation week) a special theme and I gave it to them yesterday for "fruit day," which is when you give your teacher fruit.  I figured they would have TONS of fruit, so I opted for fruity flavored gum!

Orbit gum holders for Teacher's Appreciation Day

These were so simple to make, I just took the concept from those cocoa or chocolate bar sliders.  I just wrapped the card stock around the gum (Mine was cut at 3 3/4"x 5.5" scored at 1/2", 2.5", 3", and 5": but these measurements can be altered for different brands of gum).  I punched holes with my Crop a Dile at the tops and fed the ribbon through with the gum in the middle of everything.  I secured the sides with Sticky Strip then decorated with Stampin Up's Tart & Tangy stamp set to match the orange flavor.  The sentiments were just printed from my computer and punched out.

I had younger Girl Scouts earlier in the week and wanted to do a crafty project with them too.  Instead of having tiny paper parts, I decided to keep it simple.  The apple is for Teacher's Appreciation week and the flower is for Mother's Day.

Just attach a magnet to the back for instant gifts

I just cut out the apple pieces from Create a Critter.  I left out the leaves because they were a bit small.  For the Mother's Day magnet, I just stamped a flower image on a piece of white card stock and stamped a sentiment as well.  I let them decorate it and mount it on another piece of pink card stock.  Magnetic strips ($1 at Wal-Mart!) went onto the backs so they can give them as gifts to their teacher and Mom.

Till tomorrow folks! Can't wait to see what you guys have been making this week at your blogs!  Leave me a comment below and I'll come and visit! :)
