Happy Thanksgiving Leaves

Here's another Fall project!

I cut out some leaves using various Cricut cartridges.  I also crimped them with my crimper.  Cardstock, paper, twine, stamp, and label punch are all Stampin Up. I also distressed everything with Crumb Cake ink.

Peachy Keen Pumpkins

So I know I said a couple of weeks ago that I was determined to post my Fall/Thanksgiving/Autumn projects. LOL that SO did not happen! I don't even think I got through half of them!

There are a couple of challenges going on with Fall themes, so figured I had the time today to do a quick post and enter! :)

These pumpkins were cut using the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge.  I used some Peachy Keen faces to them! The paper is some retired Stampin Up paper. Also used some SU cardstock, twine, chalk (for cheeks) and gel pen.

Gobble 'Til You Wobble

I'm determined to post my Thanksgiving/Fall cards before Thanksgiving rolls around.  Its not going to be like last year! I know I wasn't on track last year... because I made this card last year and never posted it! LOL Here it is now:

I used the Teddy Bear on Parade cartridge.  Used SU cardstock and retired SU paper.  Also tied on some linen thread.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Custom Card Monday - On Wednesday!

So I know its Wednesday.  Better late than never with my custom card monday post! I'm actually really behind in everything.  Orders, design team projects, laundry... Just been a crazy few weeks (I had 4 craft fairs in 2 weeks, eeps!) and I really need to get my buns into gear!

Anywho, here's a custom card for ya:

So this request I got came in from Etsy.  She wanted a card for her doctor brother, who was born in the year of the monkey, and her doctor brother also owns a pet tortoise.  She wanted to encompass all of that into a card for his birthday.  So here we go! LOL. The monkey and tortoise was cut out from the CAC cartridge and I got his outfit from Teddy Bear parade.  I actually did some surgery and cut off teddy's head (ouch!) and stuck the monkey head on his body.  Also did some surgery with the tail.  Came out looking pretty good, I think, you know, considering that he's a FrankenMonkey! Cardstock, ribbon, rhinestones, and googlies are all SU, paper is from my stash.

Soda Pop Father's Day Card

Still trying to get my Father's Day cards posted before Sunday!  This one was my best seller this year:

The soda can is cut from the Fast Food cartridge.  Added a cute Peachy Keen face.  Paper is from Deja Views Home Collection paper stack.  Added some jute twine I got on Etsy.  All cardstock is Stampin Up. Also added some white ink from my Sakura Gelly Roll pen and some pink chalk to the can's cheeks.

Father's Day Fishing Card

I'm determined to not post my Father's Day cards late (like I did with my Mother's Day cards!) LOL, lets see how I do!  Here's one:

I used the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge to make the cute fishing bear.  Added some chalking and doodle dots to him.  The paper is The Green Stack by DCWV. Just decorated it simply with linen thread and Stampin Up candy dots.

Custom Card Monday - Coca Cola Drinking Panda Bear

Its Monday! Which means its time for another custom card!  I needed to create a card for a friend (from a bunch of us) that featured a Coca Cola drinking panda bear. LOL.  This is what I came up with:

Cut the cutie panda from CAC cartridge.  The Coca Cola is from the Fast Food cartridge.  Added a hand written logo on it so it looked more like Coca Cola. The background paper is some retired (Christmas!) paper from Stampin Up.  Added a small piece of baker's twine for the straw and a black dew drop.

Custom Card Monday - New Hunting Baby

Its Monday! Which means its time for another custom card!  This one came in from Etsy. Someone wanted a new baby card for parents that were hunters.  This is what I came up with:

Used a Bugaboo image and inked it up with Copics.  I also added a sponged sky background.  Used some DCWV paper, SU tag die with some stampin up ribbon and retired hemp cord. Added silver liquid pearls to the rifle.

Let Them Eat Cake!

Its May 15! Time for some new design team projects! We've got a new challenge over at Scribbles Designs!  This month, our theme is "Let Them Eat Cake."  We have a color theme (I'll post it here when this goes live!) and you need to depict something edible as well.  Here's my project:

My "edible" for this challenge is the digi from Scribbles called Chocolate!  Colored it simmply with Copics.  Popped it up on some spellbinders die cuts and layered that on top of some glittered card stock from DCWV Glitter Sweet stack.  Cardstock, ribbon, and punch is Stampin Up.  The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.  And the sequins are from our very own Calypso's Etsy shop!  They're so amazing :)

You don't need a Scribbles image to play, but if you do use a Scribbles image, however, you can enter as many times as you wish.  Go here to play with us!

Wanna get this digi or any other of Scribble's designs? Check out the Scribbles Designs store!

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

Mother's Day Card

I know its late, but I totally forgot to post my Mother's Day cards! LOL, I thought I was doing so well with my custom card monday posts but then I forgot about everything else. Oye!

Anywho, here's one!

I used the Stampin Up dress framelit dies to create the dress.  The polka dot paper is some old Stampin Up paper.  Used a doily I saved from a restauraant (hehe) for the apron.  Ribbon for the belt, flower, gold twine, pearls, cardstock, punches, corduroy button, and sentiment are all Stampin Up.  The papers are from K&Co.

Custom Card Monday (a little early!) - Christmas in the Spring

I had someone ask me if I could start on their Christmas cards.  One of them had to be for a family that loved turtles (Dad, Mom, and Baby), and lived in San Diego.  Here's what I came up with:

The turtles were cut from the Create a Critter cartridge.  Made a Dad, Mom, and baby! All papers are from my scrap pile (score!), and added a very San Diego sentiment.

Custom Card Monday...err...Wednesday!

Busy beginning of the week here at Hawaii Paper Party! A couple of design team posts and a blog hop! Whew! So my Custom Card Monday post has turned into a Custom Card Wednesday post this week! (I feel funny posting twice in the same day. Kind of like I'm not giving posts their full day of being-looked-at potential. LOL, does anyone else feel that way?)

Anywho, here's my card!

Someone asked me to make a card that looked exactly like a painting their Mom had in her living room.  Unfortunately I didn't have a photo of the painting, just the description! It was "a pagoda on an island that can be accessed by a bridge, and cherry blossoms all around." This represented Springtime in Vietnam. She also wanted that sentiment for Chinese New Year and some lanterns. Here's what I came up with!

All cuts are from Pagoda, but added more pink flowers with a SU punch for dimension.  Also sponged the sky and water with some SU inks.

Custom Card Monday! The Chicken Florist

So I'm going to start a new thing here on my blog... I feel like its been a little neglected ever since I opened my Etsy shop and YouTube channel! I have made TONS of cards without posting them to my blog. Shame on me! So, I devised a plan (insert evil laugh).  Every Monday I'm going to post a custom card that I've made for a customer, friend, or family member.  These always are a bit out of the ordinary and deserve a place in cyber space!

Here's my first one:

I had someone who wanted a birthday card for her sister.  She is a tropical flower florist and also a chicken in the Chinese zodiac.  Behold, the chicken florist! :)

Got the chicken from the Country Life cartridge. The tropical flowers are from various Cricut cartridges.  I know I used luau and accent essentials.  I also hand punched some flowers and added pearls.  Love the colors together.  I used Stampin Up's Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Tangerine Tango. LOVE this color combo!  I also sponged a sky background.

Hope you enjoyed my first installment of Custom Card Mondays!
