Christmas Swap!

My Kitty Bee Design Team wanted to do a Christmas swap this month. :) Figured I'd share what I got and what I sent!

My swap partner was Elina from Scrapbooks, Crafts, and Cards, Oh My!. She's so talented! These are the goodies she sent me:

(Made by Elina)
This is a shaker ornament using Santa Christmas Penguin. Its so cute!!! Its on my tree. :)

(Made by Elina)
She also made me a bunch of matching tags and stamped wooden tags!

And this super cute card!!!! Ahhhh! Cuteness overload!

This is the card I sent her! Isn't it funny that we used the same digital image?! LOL I inked him up with Copics and popped him up.  The paper is from The Robin's Nest. I just simply added some rhinestones and white baker's twine.

I also included some wrapped presents in her package.  I'm not going to post a photo or say what it is... just in case she's waiting to open it! Just some little trinkets I found. :)

Hope you enjoyed my swap photos!

RAK's from last week!

Last week was my lucky week, I swear!  I got so many cute things in the mail!

My FIL and his wife sent us a beautiful gift basket from KY for my husband's birthday.  We used the "Sissy Sauce" (barbecue sauce) tonight for our dinner, BBQ pork chops!  There were all kinds of other things in there too... Derby pie, candies, bath products, KY blue grass seeds, and a mini Louisville Slugger! LOL!

My pal living in Turkey sent me about a half a pound of SAFFRON!  Oh my goodness! I did an exchange of pickled mango. :)

Susan from Cricut and Grasshopper sent me this awesome blog candy.  A gift card holder with a Michael's gift card in it!

Closed!

Opened!  Can't wait for my trip to IN/KY/TN in August so I can use it! Wheeee!

Thank you girlie! :)

Also got my Shirl swap from Leanne at Finding My Groove.  How adorable is this?!

Love the stenciling! And she's colored perfectly.

This was in the box too!  A decoupaged photo frame!  She looks like me!  I have those glasses and everything! LOL!

Leanne also put in a cutie patootie stamp.  Can't wait to play with it!  Thank you girlie!

I'm very blessed to have all these wonderful people in my life.  LOVE things in the mail and LOVE you guys! :)

'Till next time!

Shirl's March Swap (Spring)

So, if you don't know by now, Shirl hosts these great monthly card swaps at her blog.   She pairs us up, we make something cute that goes along with the theme, and we send it away to our friends far and away.  This month my swapper is Leanne (Lilo).   The theme was Spring.  I just got my new Stampin Up Everybunny Stamp set and wanted to try it out on her card.  Here it is:

Colored the bunnies with Copics.  Sponged the edges with SU ink.  Cardstock, paper, ribbon, pearls, and framelit die cut all by SU.

Love these bunnies! :D

Entering this in the following challenges:
Kaboodle Doodles - How cute is that?
Pollycraft - Check it out
Clear it Out - Easter + Use up your pastel papers
Little Scrap Pieces - Let's use yellow
D.L.Art - Spring Holiday

On a personal note, zombie toe is all healed up! Hooray!  I've even got a little baby toe nail growing.  I'm pretty proud of it considering I had to sign a waiver saying that I can't sue if the nail doesn't grow back.  Eep!  Lol, I was already researching fake toenails!

See you guys tomorrow, I've got a special post! :D Peace, love, and Sabo kisses!

He "helped" me write this post... NOT!

Shirl's February Card Swap

Hey guys!  It's the start of Spring Break! Woohoo!  Which means this week I only work at one of my jobs and I have the mornings free!  Yippee!  It's giving me a chance to do things that I've been putting off for awhile.  For example, THIS POST!  Lol.  I received a beautiful card from Cyndi during Shirl's February card swap.  The theme was Valentine's.  :)  Here it is:

So stinkin adorable!  Thanks Cyndi!

And here's the one I sent her:

Digi by Kenny K Downloads.  Cardstock and paper by Stampin Up.  Ink is Copics.  Ribbon is from my stash.  Hope you like it, Girlie!

Anywho, we're halfway into March now and I just sent out my partner's swap card this morning so hopefully she'll get it this week and I can post my March swap card. :)

Also, just wanted to shout out the Lia Stampz challenge tic-tac-toe!

There's 2 more days to enter! Link up HERE.

'Till tonight! (There's a new PTT challenge!) :D

Shirl's happy/cheerful January card swap

I'm loving these swaps that Shirl of Creations by Shirl is having once a month.  She started in December with a red/white/green theme.  Click here for the card that I sent out to my partner in December (unfortunately, due to postal service issues, hers never made it to me :( but that's okay,  I received it in spirit!).  I had tons of fun with this one!

This is a Tiddlyinks image.  I really need to work on coloring hair and how the light hits it.  Totally love this image... wish I had a clawfoot tub so I could take a nice relaxing soak!  I thought it would be perfect to give to someone with a spa certificate inside. :)

And just as soon as I sent mine out, I received my swap card from Shirl herself!  :)  The image she used is from La La Land Crafts.  She's so adorable (and hair perfectly colored!)

There was also a bunch of goodies inside my package!  WOWIE, did Shirl spoil me!  Thanks so much girlie!

Can't wait for the next swap!

Creations by Shirl card swap - A Jack and Sally Christmas

About a month ago, Shirl from Creations by Shirl started to host a Christmas card swap with anyone willing to participate.  I decided to sign up.  The theme was white, red, and green.  Here's what I sent my swap buddy:

The digi is from Simply Betty stamps.  Colored them with Copics.  Paper is by Stampin up and ribbon is from my stash.

I also sent my swap buddy some small gifts... hope she likes 'em!  After I put the package in the mail, I already missed Jack and Sally. :(  So I made this tag to go with a friend's Christmas present:

I love how you can scale down digis!

'Till the next Christmas project!

Stampin Up! Out with the old swap

Recently, I participated in a SU swap to get rid of our old, retired colors and use up our old stamp sets and ink.  I got my big package in the mail today of over 30+ swap cards!  I love participating in swaps because you receive so many ideas and also cards to send to friends and family or to use as a hostess gift.  Here are some of my favorites (I wish I could post them all, but 30+ seems like a lot!):

Artist: Janet Danis

Artist: Wanda Smith

Artist: Teresa Giordano

Artist: Amy Petterson

Artist: M. Markey Dwyer

Artist: Tiffany Simone (to thank me for swapping!)

I have a similar swap running right now that has the same concept, but with a punny theme.  It is all stampin up products, old or new.  If you'd like to participate, let me know in a comment and I'll send you the info! Till next time, folks!
