Ipsy For February

*disclaimer* another silly move on my part. The first "lip gloss" I open up is actually a cream shadow. Yeah. The laughs keeps coming ; ).

Love is/was in the air this past month thanks to the wonderful holiday that is Valentine's Day =). I was in Cali during that time though so I missed out on being with my hubby and two sweet boys but had SUCH a wonderful time with my brother and his family! My hubby made sure I had my Lindt Truffles delivered to me by my brother.....awwwwwww....and they were SO good!!! While I was gone my Ipsy bag came and I was eager to open it when I got home =). I have to put a small disclaimer on this video that I "let go" something I would typically edit out. I left it in because I am human and though you might think it was funny ; ).

New Year, New Thoughts

Eating "clean", Ipsy find (and love) and going "natural". I've had such a transformation since moving to Utah. There are so many things I've been introduced to. Oils, clean eating, lifting weights vs. cardio, I did makeup for my first movie and I learned a lot about fake blood, scars on the face, hypothermia, just so much!!! Here are a few more things that I've learned ; D.

Ipsy "Makeup"

Hello there =). So I made and edited this video before all the craziness of Halloween ensued so forgive the outdated comments =). Hope you enjoy! I really loved these Ipsy treasures and have used quite a few of them almost daily! The tinted lip balm that has a crazy handle actually comes with a brush...I later discovered lol. Hence the long handle =D. The neutral lipstick is also a daily treasure. What did you love?

Teal & Caramel Random Tutorial

After opening up my Ipsy bag for the month of March I had this urge to use the colors in there from Yabby Cosmetics. They so PERfectly matched my outfit and so I decided to do a very last second tutorial. Somehow it turned into "deep thinking" and reflections...hope you don't mind ; ). I have just been thinking a lot about life lately, friends, family and creative outlets. This is definitely an outlet for me and I am super appreciative of you guys for watching, commenting and learning with me. I feel like I am branching out in all areas of my life and was wondering how you guys would feel about me posting about them from time to time. I throw parties for people, I would love to share what I do and the ideas I've come up with. I'm on this whole weight loss kick and would love to share recipes. I adORE decorating (love me some Pinterest) and am actually in the process of doing two homes in the area and would love to share crafty crafty things along with decor. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments and if we want to keep to strictly makeup I can create other blogs no problem and keep this one free of those things =). Ipsy Beauty Bag For March

Got my bag from Ipsy{dot}com for the month of March and just got around to videoing the opening of said bag. I am SUPER in love with the bag this month since I am a fan of all things Nautical ; ). Not a ton in this bag but it's the first time that I was stoked about 90% of it! The eyeshadow pictured is a touch different than the colors I received. Mine was a fanTAStic teal and a caramel color. I am excited to put the hydrating mist in my kit (and to maybe use on myself) and the mirror is super cute and pink (which believe it or not, I am not always a fan of). Beauty Of the Month Club

I signed up for Ipsy.com in January, did you as well? Ipsy is a beauty of the month club where you pay $10 a month and receive all kind of beauty products. The absolute excitement of getting fun girly things delivered to my door is almost more than I can stand! I did choose the one that was the least expensive (women with husbands feel me right?) so what I have gotten so far does reflect that...kind of. There have been some amazingly wonderful full sized products and a few trial sized things that I can now put in a travel beauty bag. I am also pretty excited that I can give away some of the products to you since I have already tried them out in the past and know that I love them =). Book Of the Month? Move OVER!!!

Now let us be clear. I LOVE reading books, I adORE reading books and I dream of the days spent in leisure reading all day long (okay, so maybe that would get tiresome and I would soon feel slothful). I used to go to a book club but instead of talking about the books they would just sit there and gossip (HUGE pet peeve!!!) so I would leave dejected and disappointed. Not to mention I had an enORMOUS amount of fabulous things to say about the book bursting in my head with no outlet. Grrr, but I digress. Another fabulous find in my issue of Allure was the fact that they have Beauty By Mail Clubs. Did you HEAR that????? You can pay a monthly subscription (about $10-$15) and receive monthly goodies by mail!!! They say that some samples are not even samples at all but FULL SIZE gems. And who doesn't love a surprise? I love it!!! I do!!! Pick ME!!!! Here are a few of the sites you can go to to get started on receiving beauty kits at your door. Now notice that these are not just specific to makeup. They have perfumes, lotions, polish, brushes even!!!! Are you going to sign up with me? Which one will you choose?
