Today marks another very special day in the Décosse household. Exactly 30 years ago today, I walked down the aisle and met the love of my life at the alter. There, we exchanged vows and pledged to love each other for always. Our life together hasn't always been easy. In fact, it seems that there have been more downs than ups some years. However, through it all, we haven't wavered in our commitment to each other.
Unfortunately, it is the end of tax season up here in Canada and since my hubby is a Tax Professional he is hard at work until around 9:00 p.m. tonight. Thus, we are not going to get to spend too much time together today. Hopefully though, we'll be able to go out and celebrate this coming weekend instead.
So given that I won't be able to spend time with my hubs until later this evening, I spent this afternoon creating a digital paper to share with you all in honour of this special occasion! Of course, now I am behind in six other important things on my 'to do' list but I neglected you all so bad last year, I'm trying hard to make it up this year!
Below is a preview of what the paper looks like…
I thought this symbol of two intertwined hearts was the perfect symbol for a paper honouring our anniversary! This digital paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. I've used resources from Vectorious (purchased through Inky Deals) and Marisa Lerin (Pixel Scrapper). To grab it, click the download button to be taken to a download location. In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.
That is it for today but I'll be back on Friday with my post for the latest challenge over at Pattie's Creations.
Until that time,

Happy 51st Anniversary Momma & Poppa
I can't believe how quickly this past year has gone by. I swear it was only moments ago that I was wishing my parents a happy 50th!!!
Fifty-one years ago today my momma and poppa exchanged vows at an alter in a church in Toronto, Ontario. There have been lots of changes in their lives this past half century but the one thing that has remained consistent is their love for each other.
So, happy anniversary to two of the best parents any child could possibly dream of and thank you for being the role models I have looked up to all these many years. I am sorry that we can't be there with you today but know that you are in our thoughts, as always.
Now to the rest of you out there reading this, as some of you know, special occasions in my life and in the lives of people that are important to me means that everyone gets to celebrate. So, on that note I have created a special digital paper freebie for you. Actually, there are a total of three, just different variations on a theme...
Each of these papers is 3600 x 3600 pixels (i.e. 12 inches) and is published at 300 dpi. Credit information for the templates used to create these papers can be found in the credit note below. If you are a card maker you can always resize them smaller without distorting the quality.
Psst...I have a couple more papers planned to go out tomorrow in honour of Remembrance day as long as everything goes as scheduled so pop by tomorrow evening for some more freebies.
Until next time,
Credit Notes For This Creation:© 2013, Lisa L. Décosse. PUO. However, you are allowed to use these papers on handmade projects that you intend to sell on a small scale basis provided credit is given. You also need to include a credit note and a link to this blog should you use any of my images in your creations and post them on your blog. Congratulations to Lyn from Spyder's Corner
Oh my, seems I am a bit behind in my visits. Okay, who am I kidding. I am so far behind in my visits to your blogs that it is a crime and I should be locked up but then of course I'd never get to visit at all if I was behind bars. Bit of a conundrum that. Anyways, if I had been caught up on my visits, I would have been able to include this congratulations in the 'Congratulatory Considerations' post that I just finished doing several hours ago.
My friend Lyn over at Spyder's Corner has just celebrated her 4th blogaversary if I've counted correctly. If I haven't I am going to look like I have egg on my face and I have to tell you all, that is not a good look for me.
Lyn is a wonderful lady who is just so talented. From card making to digital design to being the author of some incredible stories that I urge all of you to check out, is there nothing that this woman can't do???!!!!
So it is with great pleasure that I say...
In honour of this auspicious occasion Lyn, I have created a special badge 200 px wide for your side bar (if you would like it), or for anyone who would like to join me in congratulating Lyn on this very special occasion. While the badge looks a bit bigger here, it is 200 px wide when you click on it and then save it. Oh and if I've got the year wrong, PLEASE notify me right away so I can change it.
So please everyone, go and wish Lyn the happiest of blogaversaries! Here's to many more years of blogging success. We love you Lyn!

Congratulations Grands9Creations
It is a special day for Sue over at Grands9Creations for she is celebrating her first anniversary offering free word art to the public. Over the past two months Sue has become one of my dearest friends and my world would not be the same without her bright optimism, her ongoing inspiration and her desire to be my biggest cheerleader. So it is with great pleasure that I say...
Here's to many more years of blogging success. We love you Sue!
