Double Freebie Alert: Happy Birthday to Me & My Hubs!

Hey folks! I'm guessing you didn't think I'd be back with another freebie so quickly, did you?! Not only was it Easter weekend, it was also my birthday on Good Friday AND is my hubby's birthday today, Easter Monday.

As you have learned by now, special occasions for me and my family members, mean presents for YOU too! It was a packed weekend so I wasn't able to get out the first freebie on my own birthday like I normally try and do. Instead, today you'll be getting both freebies--one in honour of my birthday and the other in honour of my hubby's special day. Without this man by my side I'd be lost. He is my entire world and I love him dearly. Thus, I want to take this opportunity to wish my amazing hubby a very happy birthday!!!!

I really liked the foil paper I made for the 12 Days of Christmas and got some good feedback on it. I've seen it printed out on a card and it looks pretty realistic. That is why I decided to make a matching set of foil papers for today's double freebie--one in purple and the other in green.

Check them out...

These digital papers are 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. To grab them, click the download button to be taken to a download location. In the zip folder you will find a copy of the two papers, their preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

One or the other of these textured papers will go really well with the following free birthday papers offered up in the past. If you don't have them yet, just click on any of the previews below to be taken to the original page on my blog where each can still be downloaded for free!

Well that is it for today! I hope to see you all again soon.

Until next time,

Freebie Alert: Happy Birthday to Me & My Hubs!

Hey everyone.  Sorry I have been MIA but I'm just getting back on my feet after succumbing to a rather nasty virus.  Normally each year on my birthday I give out a freebie to help celebrate.  As you have learned by now, special occasions for me and my family members, mean presents for YOU! However, this week since I'm still not feeling great, I wasn't ready with a freebie on Tuesday.  So, today I'll be offering up two because today is my hubby's birthday and of course that also means a free paper in honour of his special day.

Without this man by my side I'd be lost.  He is my entire world and I love him dearly.  Thus, I want to wish my amazing hubby a very happy birthday in honour of this special day.

I decided to make a matching set of birthday owl papers--one paper suitable for girls and the other for boys.  Check them out...

These digital papers are 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. I've used resources from Point and Poem.  To grab them, click the download button to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folder you will find a copy of the two papers, their preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Come back later this morning for links to two other freebies from Scribbles Designs.  Me?  I plan to spend the entire evening with my dear love.

Until next time,

Happy Birthday Imagine That!

One of the companies that I have recently fallen in love with is celebrating a very special occasion right now.
That is right!  Imagine That Digis by Kris has just had its first birthday!  To celebrate, Kris has put together six cute birthday animal sets, and is offering up two Mega Birthday KD-Kits.  The kits are a collaboration of elements designed by Kris Breach & Diane Noble, hence, "KD"-Kits.  Filled with matching papers, cute digi stamps and scrapping elements, these kits will save you money and help to take the guess work out of creating quick and easy cards/scrapbook pages, etc.

Take a look at all the new goodies...
Oh my goodness, so many wonderful new items available in the store to play with; and remember, Kris provides both the coloured versions and the oultline versions, along with several sentiments so you always get quite a bang for your buck!

In fact, right now, your buck can get even more of a bang as Kris is offering up a coupon code that you can use as many times as you'd like throughout the month of March, good on everything in the store!  How is that for a fabulous deal?!

(be sure to click "apply" after the coupon box at the store to see the price taken off)

And what is a birthday celebration without a party?!

That is right, the fun is just starting as Kris and the Imagine That Design Team will be having a Birthday Blog Hop starting tomorrow, Monday March 10th and carrying on for the entire week, until March 17th!
I'll definitely be joining in and I hope that you do too!

If you too are a fan of Imagine That and would like to wish them a happy birthday, feel free to grab this smaller version of the birthday badge I created.  It is 250 pixels wide but can be shrunk down to fit any sidebar.
Congratulations Imagine That Digis By Kris!!!
Wishing you much success as you continue to grow!!!

Until next time,

Card Design: From the Heart Stamps November Challenge

Holy Lord love a duck I am cutting it close with this month's entry.  With just under nine hours to go, I'm definitely pushing it.  I'm not feeling the greatest today which certainly isn't helping the situation so on that note I better get on with it.

It is time to post my card for the From the Heart Stamps progressive stamp of the month challenge.   In order to enter this challenge, you must either have received the latest image by having participated in the previous month or you can buy the stamp for the current month's challenge.  Everyone who enters and follows the rules is a winner because you automatically get the stamp for the next month's challenge.  Stop by the site and check out the rules for yourself.  While you are there, have a look around.  They have some really great images.  Below you will find the card I'm entering for the November challenge.

Here are my card and details, I hope I haven't forgotten anything...

General Information:
  • I've gone pretty clean and simple for this one and created another one layer card.

FRONT
Digital Images:
  • The image on the front, Balloon Ride, is available for purchase over at From the Heart Stamps.  Click HERE or on the watermark below to go to its location in the store.
    • The image has been coloured with Copic markers.
http://fromtheheartstamps.com/shop/cute-mice/102-balloon-ride.html
  • Those awesome balloons at the bottom of the front are a precoloured image from Romiposer 11.  It has been awhile since I've worked with her products and I miss it.  She graciously allows me to create freebies as long as they are PUO only and the last ones I think I created were at Easter.  It was wonderful to use some of her creations in this card.
Digital Sentiments:
  • 'Happy, happy, happy' is from the set of FTHS that we received this month.  These sets are so great because you always get at least a sentiment or two that work with the image(s).

INSIDE
Digital Images:
  • Yup, I went balloon crazy in this one.  These balloons are from the same set that I used for the front of the card.  If you are unfamiliar with Romiposer 11's work, you should really check it out.
Digital Sentiments:
  • 'Celebrate in a Big Way' is also from the FTHS set.
  • The 'Happy Birthday To You' sentiment is from the ever generous Paulette of Create with TLC.  Click HERE to go to Paulette's blog and HERE to go to the store.

Thanks for popping by everyone!

Another Birthday Celebration!

Today marks another birthday event in my family.  This time it is my Poppa's special day.  Again, I better not give out any ages for fear of being disowned but I definitely wanted to acknowledge this important occasion.  What better way to do that than with a freebie.  Everyone should get to celebrate today.

I'm sorry I couldn't be with you today Poppa to help you celebrate your special day, just always know how much you mean to me and how much I love you!

Once again I offer up the sentiment two different ways.  The top image is one whole piece and then I've offered it up in two separate pieces in case you'd like to put the letter B on the front of the card and the rest inside or even manipulate in different positions in one area.  It is up to you what you want to download.

That is it for now but I hope you will come back tomorrow and check out the successes that many of your fellow crafters had in the month of April. A few of you have celebrated huge milestones and you know what that means--celebration badges!

Until next time,

Happy Birthday to my Hubby!

Today is another very special day and as such deserves a very special shout out.  Today is the day my hubby was born so long ago.  I can't dare share his age with you or instead of celebrating our wedding anniversary next week I'd probably be looking for someplace else to hang my hat.

Without this man, working hard every day in order to put food on the table, pay the mortgage, and keep me in crafting supplies, there would be no way I could do what I do everyday.  Additionally, it is his love and support that allows me to create and also spend so much time with all of you.   I am very lucky and I know it.  I try to remind him every chance I get as to how special he is to me and how important.  My world would be nothing without him.

So, I want to wish my amazing hubby a very happy birthday and in honour of that celebration, I'm releasing a digi that I created especially for this occasion.  Everyone should get to celebrate today.

And a special message to my hubby...
I love you with all my heart and I am so glad that I can celebrate the marvelous man that is you!

Until next time,

Happy Birthday!

This is a special day today.  It is my momma's birthday.  I don't want her to smack me so I won't share how old she is with everyone.  We haven't always had the easiest of relationships...cough...bad teen years...cough...but now we have a wonderful relationship and have had so for many years.  Although I can't say how many because that might give away how old she is too.  Anyways, I just want to wish her a very happy birthday and in honour of that celebration, I'm releasing a digi that I created exactly three months ago to the date, for Naomi when her comment was featured in the Sunday Spotlight. Everyone should get to celebrate today.

I'm sorry I couldn't be with you today Momma to help you celebrate your special day, just always know how much you mean to me and how much I love you!

Image Details:
  • I'm afraid that you can't sell cards that you use this image on strictly because the Stars font is for personal use only.  The other font used is Angelina which is free for commercial use.
  • I'm so proud of those balloons, you have no idea.  They were my first attempt at creating digital balloons.  They may be simple but I am very pleased with how they turned out.
Oh and a quick shout out to Joelle G., my best friend Laurie's daughter, who turns eleven today.  You are entering a new decade sweetheart, filled with so many exciting moments ahead of you.  My best wishes and love to you always.

That is it for now but I hope you will come back and check out today's Saturday Showcase.  There are some extra special things going on that you won't want to miss!

Until next time,
