Z fold for birthdays

These are two cards I made for my sister and sister-in-law.  (The top view is card one and the bottom two views are the two sides of the second card.  The backing is double sided cs, and most of the images are freebies from TLC.   I especially wanted to use the main image of #1 - an ad for a Dometic sewing machine.  My sister has 3 fancy machines, I think, and I thought she would enjoy the humor and vintage feel.  Sorry the photo is not better = I thought I had more - but the card has been sent off so too late to correct!  The main verse says "So far this is the oldest you have ever been, so eat, drink and be merry.."

Thanks to Evelyn

This is similar to yesterday's card  the sketch and bg are different.
Image - TLC pre colored freebie;  papers - Lily of the Valley; Recolllections watercolor; die cut by Cheery Lynn.
New - scored card base (a friend got a new box full at a yard sale and gave it to me).  I seldom make 8.5 x 5.5 cards, but this included 100 envelopes so I may as well use them!  I will give this card - and more - to her as a thank you.
New:  the TLC image has been in my file but this is my first time to use it.

Bird House - DT card for QKR Stampede Anything Goes challenge #294

Please join us again this week for the Anything Goes challenge at QKR Stampede.  You may submit up to 3 entries by 6 p.m. Thursday, and have an opportunity to win some new images.  There is a category for Eureka/QKR stampede images, and another for others.  (Hint - use your cute QKR's!)  This time I selected an image called Bird House & Vines, and a verse to go with it.  I colored with Twinkling H2O's and some watercolors.  The panel with the cute trees is cs from WeRMemory Keepers, and the other is from my stash.  The larger bird is a Cheery Lynn die cut, and the tiny birds are punched.  I added a Cuttlebug border die cut with some metallic cord and a button.

Final Guest Designer card for Imagine that digi stamps

This has been a great three months serving as a guest designer for Imagine That Digi Stamps.  They have a great assortment of images, with new ones coming out frequently.  For today I selected a set called Autumn.  I used the precolored image - I really liked the colors, and for a card maker in a hurry, what a nice time saver!  It is also available in an outline version.  The dies are Spellbinder Labels One.  The plaid DP is from a Fall/Halloween pad I have from DCWV.  The strips do not show much, but they are pieces of glittery wired ribbon from Michaels.  I punched a couple of tiny butterflies - the "empty" corner bothered me.
When I made the card I had no destination in mind.  However, I just learned that a Navy Mom living in our town is spearheading a program to send at least 100 boxes to military members for Christmas.  They are having special collection times this Friday as well as next Saturday.  I have a lot of cards in my stash to contribute - Yeah!
