 Washington Post: Single-use coffee pods may have surprising environmental benefits over other brewing methods A new study of coffee consumption found that using pods can be less wasteful than brewing traditional filter coffee. I find them much more efficient and convenient.  I am glad the environmentalist are becoming more accepting of them.

It makes the coffee less bitter.  If you like the French or Italian roast dark coffees it may not make much difference to you,  But I have switched to a blue cup and can tell the difference.
