Our theme is 

A summer day

I dug out my CC designs image. I have a few of them and the images are so cute. I decided to use Surfin Emma,, I colored her with copics and created the ground. I used a little Ranger in the back of her for water and sky. I added her to a piece of scrap and DCWV paper. I went over parts of the image with spectrum noir sparkle.

Hello.. 

YUP.. I joined another design team.. 

I joined Happy Little Stampers Watercolor challenge.

If you've been following me or see me on facebook.. I love to watercolor and do the Let's make art watercolor subscription box.. When ever I can watercolor a card (stamped images) I will most likely do it.  So this was perfect I can use my own images and watercolor.. woohoo. yeah me.. 

Since they are based in Australia and the time difference to the West Coast USA.. My post goes live a day before.. But Australian time it's 1st of the month  and runs for the full month and it's Anything goes.. so you have plenty of time to put some watercolors to your card and enter.. 

 Happy Little Stampers Watercolor challenge

This is a cute little image from CC Designs.. I stamped her on watercolor paper and then using my Mission Gold Watercolors I painted her, created the tree, sky and ground. I used a sponge to create the greenery on the tree. I stamped the My Favorite Things sentiment and heat embossed. I used Tech. Tues. banner die and added an epoxy heart.

It's definitely time - Always Fun Challenge #116

Hello and welcome back. I have a card to shared for the challenge over at Always Fun Challenge #116

The theme is FUN AT THE BEACH

 

 I have been having a great time lately using my Altenew water color paints.  I also got some Prima complexion paints so wanted to try them out. I think they came out good. I had to kinda figure how apply so I got the right tone. There are quite a few colors to play with.  I painted the sand first with Altenew and then tried the salt on the sand so I could get the texture look. I like the way it came out after I brushed the salt off. I then painted the ocean and sky. Then I painted the CC design surfer Emma girl with the Altenew and Prima paints. I took scraps and Lawn fawn palm die and added this to the scene. I used a G rated sentiment.

Just playing in the craft room.. Wanted to make a card with out a digi. I love digi's but I have so many rubber/acrylic stamps.

 I used the CC design party girl, it's an old red rubber image.  I stamped her on the card base. Then masked the lower part of her body and used Art Impressions wooden stamp fence and stamped the fence.. boy I was worried I wouldn't get it in the right area. but it turned out ok once I removed the mask. I colored the image with Copics. I added some grass and then used my cloud template. I cut the image down and mounted on darker pink scrap then another scrap that is a lighter pink. I used a black pen and added dots to the balloon. I used My favorite things sentiment and cut it apart and added to the card.

Are you ready for another fun challenge??

 Well Always Fun Challenges #82 has one..

The theme is HALLOWEEN 

I wanted to make a fun card that could be Halloween but not at the same time. but looking at it after I got started I think it's more Halloween. Oh well.  I started by stamping the CC designs dragon image on water color paper then added Tim Holtz (crazy bird accessories) the pumpkin and broom. I colored in the images with Mission paints and I painted the night sky and added stars with Kuretake white starry paint and flicked it on the card and my desk.. I even used a box to put the piece in.. how I managed to get it on my desk I don't know.. I then took Reverse confetti sentiment and heat embossed it.  I think no matter what age you are chocolate makes everything better...
