 Always Fun Challenges #71

Our theme is GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES

 

 I knew what I wanted to do but I just couldn't get it to work so went with plan "B".. LOL
the other side of this paper has circles on it but they just didn't go with the circle die from Simon Says (too busy) so lucky I turned it over and liked this background better and it really went well with the die that I had already cut to go with the circle side.. I then wanted a contrasting color so I chose the turquoise glitter paper and using Taylored Expressions butterfly die I used the solid part for the glitter paper then using scraps (which have circles on them but the detailed top die removed the circles) I then added some Liquid pearls in black. The sentiment is heat embossed and from Simon Says.

Welcome to Mid month reminder at Always Happy Birthday #7

Our theme is BIRTHDAY ANYTHING GOES / OPT: CAKE

 

 
I used a really really old Co-motion wood rubber stamp.. I stamped the cake on a piece of pink card stock. I used copics to color areas. Funny adding copics to the pink it comes out different colors than the actual copic..  I then fussy cut it out. I ran the blue card stock through a number embossing folder. I added the cake. I stamped the Happy birthday on a piece of Quick Quote scraps and fussy cut the balloon out. I added some twine. For the flames I added stickles and the flowers and rows of pearls I added liquid pearls.

I am using the fun image called Birthday present.. I used Simon Says wonky die to cut the image out. I colored the image with Copics and went over the balloon, ribbon, shoes with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I added some Liquid pears to the buttons on her dress and socks. The sentiment is from Simon Says and heat embossed. I added a little white gel pen to a few areas.

Thank ewe - Bugaboo New Release

Hello and welcome back to my blog.

Today being Tuesday it's new release day at Bugaboo..

This image is St. Patrick ewe... You know.. I really don't make St. Patrick cards so I made this a fun thank ewe card. I used My favorite things stitch die and then colored the image with copics. I ran the blue through an embossing folder. I then had some scrap paper and stamped the My pink stamper sentiment and added this and felt it needed another piece of that rich orange so added another strip below and added twine. I finished with some sequins and added some Liquid pearl drops on top.
