Welcome to another challenge over at

Make my Monday #241

Theme: Faux or real stitching

I think I should of changed the background color vs. the tan background. It's doesn't do the card justice..

This card I made for my daughter who loves purple and the base is a deep purple from Stampin up. The image is what I stamped when I was at a friends house and I don't know the name of the image but it's beautiful I think it's a Gina K image . That's why I stamped it.. lol.. I colored with Copics. I used My favorite things stitch die and cut the image and the green. I heat embossed the Simon Says sentiments. I used Nuvo drops on the top sprig. I added Taylored Expressions gems for the center of the flower and Spectrum Noir glitter brush over the petals. I added some diamond drills for extra bling.  I know she will love it.. Her birthday is in February.

Hello

Time for a new challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas #159

Theme: Non traditional colors

Who would of thought black Christmas tree dp but I obviously have it. I took my stamp set from Stampin up and stamped the image and used Kat Scrappiness die and cut it out. I cut a white piece to put behind it but I didn't like it white so I took Ranger ink and smeared it over the die cut. I added to the card and finished with Nuvo drops on the tree. I feel this is non traditional colors.

I used Denami Design stamp and colored with copics. I added some Nuvo drops. Very simple card. the trees and sentiment are all one red rubber stamp.

R - for Reindeer

I have always love this cute Reindeer from Holly Berry House.. That's an old company. I found this designer paper from Fresh Pink and so Stamped the deer and the Hero Arts branch with ornaments and colored all with copics. I added Nuvo drops to the ornaments.

Our theme is

Animal or bird

I used Simon says stamp and colored with copics. I found this floral scrap from Quick Quite so using Spellbinder oval dies cut them out. I them used Stampin up dots stamp used versa mark on the background but it didn't come out too good so I went over it with white. I like the a hint of a design. I finished with Nuvo drops on the frame and a gem on his nose.

Our theme is 
City Scape

I used the Stampin up houses and added a touch of color with Ranger ink. I cut some hills of snow. The snowmen and girl are painted with Prima paint. Used Pretty pink posh. The sky looked plain with just nuvo drops as snow so I added the SU snowflake that kinda looked like a star.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #185

Our theme is picked by me.. 

WATERCOLORING

This stamp set is from Stampin up and I borrowed it from my friend. I stamped the images and using Prima watercolors painted it and the background a light blue. I used the die to cut out the images. I stamped the sentiment and banner and cut out.  I went around the edge of the sentiment with gold embossing ink and let it dry. I used a Stampin up embossing folder and ran the card stock and using the same gold ink ran it across the high parts of the paper. I added the images on foam dots and finished with some Nuvo drop gold.

For my card I used some gray with a lot of silver sparkle to the designer paper. It look awesome in real life. I used some Stampin up silver cording. The dies are Reverse Confetti and I added some silver circle blings... I made the cups to look like there was colored wine in it I went over the wine with Nuvo clear.

I am using the image Yummy treat.. I thought she was making a birthday cake for that special someone so it's a birthday card. I colored with copics. PRINCESS  - it's Carrie Fishers birthday

For my princess I used a Bugaboo image. I colored her with copics and used some Simple stories dp. I added the birthday sentiment from Paper Trey Ink. The other sentiment I am not sure who it's by.
