Hello.. I hope you're all doing ok and staying healthy..

I have a card to share using the Bugaboo Stamps new release image.

This cute image is called Boo teddy bear.. I used copics to color this image. I found some copics that I have never used. They seem more florescent which I kinds toned down using other colors over it. I really wanted this image to pop with color and I think it worked.. I used a Simon says star die to create the background and some SS ink. I stamped the Taylored Expression sentiment on a piece of card stock and used Tech. Tues. banner die. I added an epoxy heart. I went over her heart and collar with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Our theme this week is 

FOR A GIRL

I hope you're all doing good and been able to get in some crafting time in and now with spring and being stuck at home getting gardening in for those with spring time weather. It's sure been a rough few months but being retired we are pretty much home a lot anyhow. I do like being able to get up and go out if I want but that as you know has been halted. I do miss my bible study and bible art / stamping with friends.. but better safe than sorry. Stay safe, Stay strong.

This is my card using the image called Butterfly friends..  I colored the image with copics. I then used My favorite things round corner rectangle die. I added this to an old piece of designer paper. Not even sure who it's from. I added the Mama elephant stamped sentiments and some epoxy hearts.

This image is called Leila Lady Bug 0687.. I colored her with copics. I added the My favorite things sentiment with Stampin up ink. I then used Simon Says rectangle die. I added her to a piece of my favorite things designer paper and tied a red ribbon in a bow and topped it with an epoxy heart.

This image is called Flower trio.. I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used Lil inker stitch die. I found this awesome designer paper that lists flower names on it.. So it's perfect for this card. I stamped the Simon Says sentiments and used Stampin up dies to cut them out. I added an epoxy heart. I used Quick quote designer paper and Taylored Expression fence die.  I went over different parts of the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

This is my card using the image called Adorable spring piglet.. I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template / stencil and Ranger ink. I used Lil inker stitch die. I added to a piece of Polkadoodles designer paper and stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment with Stampin up ink. I added an epoxy heart. I used an Artistro glitter pen on the butterfly, her hair heart, flower centers.

Hello.. It's Friday so we have a new challenge going on over at Crafty Cats #501

This is the color chart to follow

I am using the image called Tulips and bugs  I colored the image with copics. I went over the flowers and butterfly with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I then used Lil inker stitch die. I added this to a piece of Quick Quote scrap paper. I colored the twine with copic green ink.  (if you do this make sure the ink is dry before you start to wrap the twine around the white card... you can probably guess why I say that!!) then added an epoxy heart to the bow. I stamped the Simon say and Mama Elephant sentiment using Stampin up in. I cut the pieces out and added to the card. I added some gems right above the Happy mother's day sentiment.  Perfect card for mother's day..

I hope everyone is being safe and social distancing.. doing our part to stop the spread of this pandemic. I pray for the world to do their part so that we can all get back to a normal way of life. 

I am glad that we are retired and pretty much homebodies anyhow. I know it's got to be hard for those that work that need to still be out in the public. I pray for their safety and strength.

I am glad that I have this craft of making cards and water color painting as an outlet for my stress and anxiety. 

Hello.. It's Wednesday so it's humor day over at

So.. Did you know that today is Draw a bird day??  Yup it is.. So that is how I created my card I used the image called Mis b day chickie.. I colored the image with copics. I then used the hand stamp by Marks of distinction stamp. I colored with copics and cut it out.  I love that it's a left hand.. as I am left handed.. and since it's draw a bird day it was perfect. I added all to a scrap piece of Quick Quote yellow designer paper. I finished with the epoxy heart..
