I was coloring some mermaids and decided to make a card.. I used a piece of background paper I created myself using glossy paper and Ranger Oxide inks. I smeared the inks all over the glossy paper and then using a towel I wiped off the top layer of inks and this is what was left. I think it looks like water.. I then used some My favorite things fish and grasses and stamped them in Ranger inks. I dried so they wouldn't smear. I then stamped the mermaids and rock on Bristol paper and colored with Zig markers. I added the images to the card base and added the sentiment.

Welcome back to another challenge at Catch the bug

Our theme is ANYTHING GOES

I am using the image called Brat Sean Dog

 

This is my card. I colored the image with Copics and used my cloud template for the sky. I found this great Basic Gray background paper so added this then added the image. I stamped the Club scrap happy birthday and embossed.. I also stamped the Simon says sentiment.  I made it so it looks like he's on a sidewalk. This is a great masculine birthday card..

Free Friday image from Bugaboo??

The Free image is JJ WRENCH.. I stared with a piece of aluminum foil and wrapped it around a piece of card stock. I then used the gear embossing folder and ran it through a couple times. I then used some Ranger bronze and black paint and went over the embossed foil to get the look I wanted. I then colored the image with copics and used Lil Inker stitch die. I added her to the embossed gears. I stamped the Paper Pretties happy birthday and Simon says you sexy beast.  I heat embossed them. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the wrench and her glasses. I added a few buttons to the bottom corner. (because I cut the edge off by mistake)  Head over and get this fun image at Bugaboo

I googled and googled and finally found a tutorial that showed me how to do a watermark that I could create and make lighter and added over the body of the image I was using.  I know a lot of the sponsors want a water mark over them. The one I have been using is black and so it really took away from the image so I had to find another way to make a simple wm.. Finally.. I made one.

I am using the Unicorn images. Aren't they the cutest. I colored them with copics. I gave them fun colorful horns. I used My favorite things circle die. I also found some scraps of designer paper which was perfect for the background. I added the image to the background. Then used Simon says sentiment and added this to foam and added to the card. I used some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the horns.

I wanted to make a Halloween type card even though I don't do Halloween and never liked it.. We use to take the kids to a local swimming pool and pretty much have the whole pool to ourselves. I would buy some candies for them but they really loved the pool idea better. Any how I went along with what my mind was showing in my head and created this card.  I have a bat stamp and a die but the more I was thinking I remembered an awesome tree I had and it seems that bats come out at dusk so that's what I went with. Just using stamps. The tree by Peddlers pack, the bats by Petaluma.. I created the sky using Ranger Oxide inks. I then created the ground using my template and Oxide inks. I then used water and flicked some dots. I took Perfect pearls and watered it down and added sprinkles of this so that I had a star looking sky. I stamped the Tree and Bats with Stampin up black. I added some grass to the bottom with more black.. The sentiment is from a Halloween designer pack and I just cut out the BOO.

Hello Miss Thang - Bugaboo New Release (kinda)

Hello and welcome back to my blog.

Today I have a card to share using the Bugaboo image.

This is Goth Girl.. I went through my Recollections designer paper and I had quite a few cut up scraps so I just grabbed them and laid out the pieces then adhered them to the card. I love pieced backgrounds.. I colored the image with copics and then added her to a black background and adhered to the base. I had one bat and one cloud left over on my desk from last week so I picked them up and added to the card. I wasn't sure what sentiment so looking at the Simon Says stamp set I chose the Miss Thang.. I thought it kinda fit.. I die cut the Hello four times and layered it. boy for someone who doesn't care for Halloween I am tested this month. lol.. I do love the colors and this image is so cute.

Since I don't really care to do Halloween I went with leaves.. So my card I used Paper trey ink doily die, leaves, house and sentiment stamps and dies.  I used scraps from Quick quote. The inks I used are Altenew.
