Being Thankful!

First off, I am sorry that I have not been around that much this last week, but will be visiting all of your blogs next week!  With Thanksgiving, I was so busy cooking and it was just the hubby and myself!   Well I know that plenty of you were living in your kitchens!  Hope all of you who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful time and those who did not the same!
The Appetizer

And The Thanksgiving Dinner
I am thankful for the lovely DT at Gingersnap Creations for choosing me and this card for the "Black and Grey" challenge to receive a Ginger Gem!  Always such an honor!  Thank you!
To all my followers, new and old, I am so thankful to share with you in this creative journey!  This crafty hobby blogging world is the best.  Once in a while we actually get to meet one of our crafty blogging friends and that is exactly what I did today!  It was such a pleasure to meet up with Linda from "My Happy Place" and her husband on their way home from a camping trip!  What an adorable and sweet couple!  I was so thrilled to be able to share some real quality time!   Fun time and I sure hope we do that again soon!
Linda and Me with Sun in Eyes!
The wonderful and generous Cindy from "My Whimsical Musings," sent me this gorgeous Tag!  I just love the fairy image and the flower and lace touch is sheer elegance and even the vintage advertisement bag is amazing!  Thank you so much, Cindy, for thinking of me!
Last but not least, I was sent an invite from Nancy of "Sugar Lump Studios" for what looks to be "12 Days of Whimsy" fun!  Click the link and take a look!  There will be prizes!!!
Wishing you all a wonderful evening!  I am thankful that you took the time to visit!

Smitten Altered Love Tag

I am a "Smitten" student at Nancy's Sugar Lump Studio
You can go to Sugar Lump Studio to see the projects we are working on, which are all gorgeous.  This is the first time I have taken an online class and my first attempt at collage.
The image I used is of a photograph of my Mom at age 10.  My Aunt sent me this shortly after my Mom passed and I just love her school picture.  The rhinestone corners are from some costume jewelry of my Mom's.  When I added them, I said to my DH, "what if these are real diamonds?"  I would have tied a bow, but I am the most bow incompetent female on this earth.  It is actually embarrassing to not be able to tie a bow.  I can tie my shoes, but not a bow!  Is that like so sad?

Also I joined Bella Creations, which is a new group and another great way to share art and learn, so come on and take a look!  I have already seen some familiar faces and would love to see more!

Have a wonderful day and thank you!
