I'm Late!

Do you ever like forget something?  Well maybe you don't, but I did!  My birthday was in May and I really tried to keep it quiet.  However, I did mention that I had a surprise birthday visit from my Son and Granddaughter for the big "60."   Around Mother's Day, my DD informed me that she bought flight tickets for us to go see her on Father's Day.  Well my head was just all worked up over flying and leaving pets, my hubby's birthday in June, I forgot to do something.  A couple of blogging friends sent me birthday surprises and I of course immediately thanked Lynn and Lynne.  The next day was my hubby's birthday and I was going to ask if it was OK to blog these and with all the excitement, I forgot to ask.  The other day, my little bit of a brain had a flash and I even went to see if perhaps I had blogged this!!!  Well I did take pictures, but somehow the blogging just did not happen, so here we go!

The adorable Lynne from Adorn , sent me a most lovely birthday card with a beautifully packaged bundle of lace and game pieces.  I just love the soft and delicate feel Lynne incorporated in my card!  Thank you again for your kindness and being such a great blog friend!  XO
Lynn of Trash To Treasure, who I have known before the days of blogging, also surprised me.  I sure hope I captured the beauty in the necklace this sweet lady made just for me!  I love this and the sweet birthday tag!  Your generosity if very much appreciated as is the friendship we have shared for a long time now!  Thank you!  XO
As some of you may know, I met up with the fabulous Brenda of Bumblebees and Butterflies on Saturday.  I took some pictures as did Brenda, but on Thursday, I will do a post and share a little of our adventure.  Lucy, was not with us, but was also part of this adventure, so stop by and share in our time IRL!  Meeting blogging friends is absolutely the best and there are so many of you that I sure hope one day to visit!

Thank you for stopping by today and have a great week!

A couple of tags and a few thank yous!

First I have a few lovely bloggers to thank!

While popping over to visit Tracy of "Not A Moment to Spare," she was having a blogaversary #1.  I was the lucky recipient of an on-line shopping gift certificate and these treasures were delivered on Saturday!  More great stuff to play with and more i-Rock bling, which is really cool, because I can't get the pink, black and clear combo!  Thank you Tracy, you rock my friend!  If you really want a good laugh and love stories, really go over and visit!  It is one of my favorite places to hang out!  Right now she has a twisted fairy tale post, so go take a look.

Now this was a surprise win, because I had commented on this gorgeous tag and Linda of Random Creativity was giving it away!  Can you believe I actually won this on our 28th Anniversary??  Is this lovely or what and she must have known how much I love copper!!!  Thank you Linda, this is a beauty of a tag and I will hang this proudly.  Stop by Linda's for some beautiful creations!

This was quite a surprise and of course I love it.  Lynn from Trash To Treasure sent me this adorable little soldered pendant.  Lynn actually added the crown (German Scrap) and that alone had to be quite the job.  I would have glue or whatever she used all over the place!  If you have not been to Lynn's, right now she has this wonderful book of fairies post and it is incredible and better pictures of this and the entire collection.  Thank you my sweet friend.

Don't forget that I have my own Blogaversary giveaway going on, so scroll down and leave a comment for a chance to win.  It is my way of thanking all of you that are followers and take the time to comment or e-mail!

Here are a couple of tags I made for a couple of friends and I just wanted to share them, now that they have been received.  One uses G-45 papers and vintage watch parts.  The second is all Heartfelt Creations images.  Distress Inks were used for the background and I used a technique called Antique Glimmers from the Technique Junkies.  I cut some shrink plastic using my Spellbinders scallop die.  Stamped with Memento ink and then colored with alcohol markers.  Heat set the piece and ended up with a little fragment.  The white scallop is the original size.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by and commenting.  Have a beautiful week!
