Simple Steps to Reduce Risk of HFMD Infection

Hand foot and mouth disease, also known as HFMD is most common among babies and children under the age of five. However, it is possible for older children and adults to be affected by HFMD as well1. Hence, it is extremely vital to stay clean whenever possible, and one of the simplest ways to do so is using the Antabax auxiliary range.

In Malaysia, this disease has affected many families and communities significantly with 35,886 HFMD incidents reported from January until July this year nationwide2.

Antabax, Malaysia’s number 1 Halal antibacterial personal care range, has an auxiliary range that comprises of a terrific trio of pocket-sized Antabax Antibacterial Cleansing Wipes, Instant Hand Sanitizer and Hand Sanitizer Spray. These handy cleansing essentials can help reduce the risk of HFMD infecting children and infants.

Product Usage
HFMD is a communicable disease that spreads through direct contact with the mucus, saliva, blister fluid and faeces of an infected child3. But, it can also spread indirectly through infected surfaces. It is best to sanitize frequently touched items at home or shared public equipment. Among those are the children’s water bottle, door knobs or baby chairs. Wipe them down with Antabax Antibacterial Wipes, freeing it from 99.9% of germs.

It was also recently discovered that the HFMD outbreak that started in Penang originated from supermarket trolley handlebars4. With ease and for peace of mind, use Antabax Hand Sanitizer Spray onto trolley handlebars and wipe it off with a clean tissue. It is also handy when sanitizing toys, schooling equipment’s like pencil case that may have been in contact with other children. It also does wonders when used on public toilet seats and train or bus handles for daily commute. My sons also like to use this hand sanitizer spray.

Our hands will always seem clean because germs are not visible to the naked eyes. It is important for parents to sanitize their hands after making contact with other people or public equipment before handling their children for precautionary measures. Let Antabax Gel Sanitizer do all the dirty work! Squeeze enough on your palm and rub it between hands and fingers as a thorough cleanse from germs, especially when soap and water is not available. I do keep the Antabax Gel Sanitizer inside my car, for the convenient to use as usual my kids will be using it after school.

The Antabax antibacterial range provides 24-hour protection and kills up to 99.9% of harmful germs. Formulated with skin vitamins and Aloe Vera to keep skin healthy and moisturized, its Derma Protect System contains Micro Moisture Serum to leave hands soft, smooth and healthy. Dermatologically tested to be gentle on the most delicate skin, the range is suitable for daily use.

Using Antabax gives all the family peace of mind because it is brand certified Halal by JAKIM.

Good hygiene practice starts from home. Together we can educate our children on its importance to help reduce the risk of your children infected by HFMD with Antabax.
For more information and tips on how to reduce the risk of being infected by HFMD, head to Antabax Facebook page, fb.com/NewAntabax or visit Antabax Instagtam @antabax for

PINKFONG BABY SHARK ICE CREAM & MINI CONCERT

Good day to all my reader and visitor, it's been a very hot day. I love to eat ice cream during hot day and even my kids love them too. Now there's PinkFong Baby Shark Ice Cream, do you know of the Baby Shark Doo Doo Doo? It is kids' favourite song, I got to know this from youngest son he started showing me video on youtube and sing along.

We are so happy that we can enjoy the PINKFONG Baby Shark Ice Cream in Malaysia, we love the delicious strawberry flavour ice holly with milk flavoured filling. Yeah, it taste so yummy that I have purchased more to keep in freezer at home. You can find the ice cream available in-stores nationwide now. It is RM1.90 for one PINKFONG Baby Shark Ice Cream.

Say no more as we had more surprises for us last week, were you by any chance at One Utama Shopping Centre last week? There was a PINKFONG & Baby Shark Mini Concert which was on 26 April 2018 to 29 April 2018 at High Street where we found more PINKFONG Baby Shark Ice Cream. Indeed it was a great experience that made me and my boys enjoy every single moment of the concert. It’s also considered as fun learning experience for the kids and they can sing-along together with the lyrics on the screens. Something a little like this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRJGnJi6N1M

That evening was truly a memory to keep; The Baby Shark mini concert from start to end was very knowledgeable; do check out my video above. I was told tickets were sold out too. Besides watching the show, we also enjoyed the PINKFONG Baby Shark ice cream, it was selling at a buy 1 free 1 during that weekend.

November blues

Beautiful sunset at Amverton Cove Gold Island Resort
It's November and it's Thursday, evening and raining here. Just sharing with you last month we went for a short vacation at Amverton Cove Golf Island Resort. Feel free to read the post, as you can find not just kids activities there. There's other activities for adults and also for golfers, do visit their Facebook to find out.

Today supposed to be a media trip that I can follow to go for Lost World of Tambun but not able to make it as it's an important day today to meet with teachers on son's education. Not just today the last media invitation also been rejected as it clashed with children's report card day. Last media invitation was to Legoland Malaysia.

The 28 October Friday, was an unlucky day for me, I have got a car accident. The 4 wheels truck hit the Toyota Vios and Toyota Vios hits my car. I was on the way to fetch my youngest son from kindergarten. I didn't make it to fetch him, I called sister-in-law about this and lucky that niece was at home she can help to fetch my son. My parents in law were here too, it's also the day they went back to hometown together with niece. At the moments, my car is not repair yet, the police report is RM34 and it showed that the driver's fault is the 4 wheels truck.

Next year gonna be a busy year for me and the kids as son will be Standard Six and youngest son is Standard One in Primary School. Besides busy he is busy tuition at school, he is also tuition outside. Got to balance the life of education having entertainment and also exercise for healthy living. No doubt I got to spend time for myself too, got to see how and make arrangement for it, perhaps pampering time, etc. I didn't have a transporter for my children as it is calculate by per person the payment for a way, both ways will be different payment and not yet include the outside tuition location to send. Now you know why there's a lot of calculation to do.

Few years back I followed the media trip as my dear's working nearer to home and able to fetch sons. But he's further away now and unable to help me to fetch them if I go, there's rider available now which I can pay if there's places I need to go. But then I need to consider about the children first like there's tuition or not and the time is suitable or not. There's lot to consider as a mom, not just parenting but also lifestyle of children.

By the way, anyone has got a good car workshop in Subang Jaya to recommend?

LEGOLAND® BRINGS JOY TO THE KIDS IN HOSPITAL SULTAN ISMAIL JOHOR

The LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort Police costume character joining the kids in the ward in a sing and dance activity.
LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort and LEGO® Malaysia teamed up to bring its awesome brand of fun and play to children in the pediatric ward in Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor. The kids of the palliative care unit at the pediatric ward – a special unit for kids suffering from serious illnesses – were treated to awesome, fun-filled LEGO® activities that were meant to stimulate their imaginations through play. These kids, who are not allowed to go home during the holiday seasons, received the ultimate holiday treat, as they were treated to building and colouring activities, singing and dancing performances and a special appearance by LEGO® Police costume character.

Starting the visit with the LEGO® building activity, the children were challenged to a speed building activity where they were all given a LEGO® Christmas Set. The first five kids whom completed the activity won LEGO® sets and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort merchandise. Following the building activity, the children got to express their imagination through the colouring activity. Aside from the building and colouring activities, the children had fun decorating their very own jelly based on their creativity using healthy fruits. Both LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort and LEGO® Malaysia worked hand-in-hand to sponsor various LEGO® sets and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort merchandise for the kids’ play area for them to continue building their imagination. The day was ended with various goodies, sponsored by LEGO® Malaysia and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort, were handed to all the children to enjoy.

Casper Bonavent, Director of Operations, LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort (left) sharing a light moment with a young boy in the ward while gifting him a LEGO® gift set.
“At LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort, we believe deeply that every kid deserves the right to play, and grow through play. This holiday season we wanted the children to have a great time and fully explore their imaginations through play even though they are unable to spend the holidays at home. We wanted them to forget their illness and just be kids once again, with no worries about treatment and pain. We felt compelled to bring the fun to them,” said Young Pil-Kim, General Manager (Interim) at LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort.

“We’re proud to have done this with like-minded partners in LEGO® Malaysia. Some say there is kind of a healing quality in laughter. Beyond the smiles and laughter that the kids experienced here today, it is our sincere hope that the awesome fun and games today brings them closer to their family and their imaginations. They could not visit us in LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort so we brought LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort to them. It is after all the Merlin Magic Wand’s spirit,” Young concluded.
