Take a Look At These Highlights!

Once again, there are too many great ways to spend time creating! It is so hard to choose creations to feature each week. Here are a few!

Make an easy and inexpensive headboard with the help of A Step In The Journey. This would look so cute in a beachy type bedroom (or really any type of bedroom.)

It is hard to find short sleeve, light weight cardigans for warm/hot weather. However, with this idea from Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries, a summer cardigan is totally doable. She made a cardigan from a t-shirt! Sweet! (It would look great even on someone who is NOT pregnant!)

I love all things bandana so these bandana shorts/pants tutorial stood out to me. I think the paisley bandanas would make adorable short/pants. See the tutorial at Ginger Snap Crafts.

This is one awesome bedroom for a little boy! I love ALL the details of the rooms! Check out everything about it at Life As We Know It.

Nap Time Crafters created this darling summer romper using a fitted bed sheet. No elastics. No casing! Save LOTS of time. Check out this tip because I think it is pure genius.

This pillow is rufflicious! Wouldn't that look great on a couch, bed or chair? See this ruffle pillow at Ameroonie Designs.

Some Beautiful Highlights!

Here are just a few of the really cool projects I liked at today's party. I plan on posting a few more another day! Hope you like them!

Make a chevron print out of yarn like Tattered and Inked did. It will add some texture and variety to the print! I think it looks very cool.

I love all things bandana so this bandana skirt caught my eye! What a fun twirl skirt for a little girl. Sun Scholars has the tutorial.

This shirt with a bow in the back is so cute! Usually it is the front of the shirt that is embellished, but I'm loving this idea from Inspiration and Realisation.

Belts are "in" right now and this ribbon belt is "hot." The ribbon and the fabric flowers are darling, not to mention the colors! See how to make this at Love City!

Here is another great belt to add to your wardrobe! Not only is this elastic rosette belt super stylish, it is SUPER easy to make! I think you could make 5 or 6 in one hour. See how at Suburbs Mama!

Don't you wish you could wear a cute nursing shirt after a baby comes? Well, I Make Stuff has come up with not only a cute nursing shirt, but a drop-dead gorgeous ruffly nursing shirt. You've got to see how to make one for yourself.

Turn some old (or new molding) into a fun sign. Don't you love the colors, words and "essence" of this baseboard sign at Craftberry Bush! Beautiful!!!

Bandana Dress w/Straps AND Adding Glitter to a T-shirt/Material

I love anything bandana and this style of bandana dress is no exception. I'm going to have to make one for my daughter! While this green is perfect for St. Patrick's Day, it would look adorable in any color. Thanks to Living With Punks for the great tutorial.

When I saw this idea linked up to last week's party, I knew I needed to save it. This awesome tutorial from ICandy Handmade shows how to add a glittery graphic to a t-shirt. I think it would also work for other fabrics too. What a great tip to know!!!

See the glitter tee.

Bandana Quilt and Curtains

If you love bandanas like I do, you will think this quilt and these curtains from Fox Tale Follies are the bomb! I've seen bandana quilts before, but never curtains. What a perfect idea for a country themed room.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July to you!
Today is my daughter's 4th birthday! My husband, me and my daughter were all born on holidays!!! Usually, we spend the 4th (and the surrounding days) up in the mountains at my mom's timeshare (East Canyon.) That's where I am right now! I'm on vacation and will be for a few more days!
These pictures are from last year when my little girl turned three!
I thought she was such a big girl then! Now she is so much bigger and more mature! What a cutie!
I've said I love the clothing associated with the 4th of July. My daughter has so many skirts and bandana dresses and other clothes that are red, white and blue!I made this little skirt from a bandana. (She has 2 other skirts similar to this made from dishtowel and bandana.)

I love this bandana dress! She is a great little model!

I made a bandana dress for our neighbor too so they could be the cutest girls at the parades!

I even managed to find red, white and blue for my little guy!!!

Don't you love pictures when your kids are crying!!!! This is what they wore to church last year around the 4th. I made my son's little, wild tie!

Looking back, I can't believe how much my kids have grown in the past year! Happy 4th to all of you and Happy Birthday to my little one!

Weathered Wood Picture Frames and Bench

When you tear down that old fence or deck, save the wood.
There are so many fun projects to make with old weathered wood. Make these fence picture frames with Cinnaberry Suite! I love the bandanas on them. See how to make these weathered wood frames HERE.
My Repurposed Life made these adorable benches and table from an old deck.
(You could make them with new 2x4's also.)
See how to make these simple wood benches HERE.

Bandanas just make everything cooler - especially cut off jeans. Momma's Kinda Crafty shows you how to make a bandana skirt out of jeans. GO HERE.

Don't you love it when an article of clothing can be used in more than one way? This 3-in-1 piece can be a skirt, a top or a dress. See all three at Rosies. Go HERE.

Turn a plain tank top into a summery darling tunic with this tutorial from Tea Rose Home. GO HERE.
