Pottery Barn Knock-off Gathered Quilt

What would it be like to have a beautiful, fresh, clean, white gathered quilt like this one that Frou FruGal knocked off from Pottery Barn?  I don't think it is possibly with 3 little kids running around, but a girl can dream!  The tutorial is a very detailed one!

Basketweave Quilt

I'm totally loving this new technique by Honeybear Lane for making a quilt!!!  Remember in elementary school when you would make little baskets or hearts by weaving paper strips?   This is the same concept except it is with fabric!  It looks beautiful and takes less time than cutting and sewing a whole bunch of squares together!   Awesome.

Vintage Sheet Quilt and Blogger PARTY!!!!

Amy at Diary of a Quilter always has such great ideas to do with vintage sheets! I'm especially crushing on this vintage sheet baby quilt she made! Gorgeous material makes a gorgeous quilt.
Check out the vintage sheet quilt!

ALSO, Amy and some other bloggers are putting together a social event for all bloggers who would like meet other bloggers during the Internation Quilt Market on May 14 in the evening. I have no idea what that is, but the social for bloggers (not really connected to "Market") sounds really fun! Amy assured me you don't have to be quilter to attend the social. I am trying really hard to attend and I would love to meet other bloggers. Go to this post to learn more about the party!

These cute pieced placemats remind of quilting (without the things that frustrate me)! They are adorable. The Polka-Dot Umbrella has a great tutorial for making some for your table!

Christmas Tree Skirt and Baby Quilt

I once made 12 squares for a quilt and had a blast doing it. However, I never got the quilt completely put together(: Someday, I will. I love these two quilts by Piece N' Quilt. HERE is the tutorial on how to make the Tic Tac Baby quilt.

This is a quilted Christmas tree skirt. But I think it could pass as a baby quilt (if you didn't cut a place for the tree.) Go HERE to see this tutorial.
