Vintage Books Lamp

Pin It  If you are into vintage or want something really unique for your home, think about making a Thomas Edison inspired book lamp.  It makes me think about the first lightbulb!   This great idea came from The Shabby Creek Cottage.

Vintage Book Bundles

Pin It  I'm loving this vintage book display at Knick of Time.   My favorite part is holding the books together with a rusty/aged belt.   Totally cool!   She has quite a few ideas for book bundles and items holding them together.  One of my other favorites is the vintage measuring tape!

Anthropologie Knock-off Necklace

I'm a big fan of Anthropologie, but my budget just doesn't allow much shopping there. Imagine my delight when I came across this Anthropologie Knock-off Necklace designed by My Two Butterflies. Truth be told, I actually like it better than the original!

Vintage Spool Christmas Tree

This vintage spool Christmas tree is perfect for crafters. I could see it on everyone's little craft table. I wish I had enough vintage spools to make one like Cup of Delight did.

Vintage Sheet Quilt and Blogger PARTY!!!!

Amy at Diary of a Quilter always has such great ideas to do with vintage sheets! I'm especially crushing on this vintage sheet baby quilt she made! Gorgeous material makes a gorgeous quilt.
Check out the vintage sheet quilt!

ALSO, Amy and some other bloggers are putting together a social event for all bloggers who would like meet other bloggers during the Internation Quilt Market on May 14 in the evening. I have no idea what that is, but the social for bloggers (not really connected to "Market") sounds really fun! Amy assured me you don't have to be quilter to attend the social. I am trying really hard to attend and I would love to meet other bloggers. Go to this post to learn more about the party!

Some Party Highlights!

.
As usual, there are so many great ideas linked up to today's party! Here are a few of interest to me!!!
These vases at Nifty Thrifty Things used to be clear glass! They are so much more beautiful painted - from the inside out! Check out paint glass from the inside.

Painting chevron stripes is quickly becoming the rage. See how Bon Temps Beignet painted some chevron stripes!!!

Check out how EmmylouBeeDo turned a white onesie into this darling lovable St. Patty's shirt! This would work well for t-shirts too! I love the heart on the clover! Cute touch! You can print out the clover from this site.

I'm totally smitten with this bed made out of two matching vintage doors. One for the headboard and one for the footboard. See the pictures at Junk Restore.
