It's Time For Crafting With The Stars

Can you believe it is time for Crafting With The Stars to begin again at Sew Dang Cute?  Well, it is.  I'm excited because there are ALWAYS amazing ideas that come out of this contest.  This seem to bring out the best in each contestant!

This season will be a little different (a little better) than the last two.  YOU get to decide who will be the stars and what the themes of the week will be!  Sounds fun!

Head over to Sew Dang Cute to get the details for the contest and to vote for 5 of your favorite bloggers to be stars.  I'm one of them, but really don't feel obligated to vote for me.  I've been a "Star" for the last two seasons and think that maybe it is time for someone else to shine!

Antiquing A Trunk and Anthro Bag

I wish I had a trunk so I could make it beautiful like Made It Monday, my CWTS partner, did with a trunk she had. I love the way she antiqued it and added a world map to it for the decopauge theme of Crafting With The Stars last week. See how created this World Traveler Trunk (Inside and Out!)

Made It On Monday has also posted the tutorial on this Anthro knock-off bag. You can see the tutorial HERE or you can enter a giveaway to win it HERE (You need to enter tonight because she is announcing the winner tomorrow.)

Sweatshirt Turned Anthro Jacket!

If you like this jacket and ensemble, you will love how it was made. The Anthro knock-off jacket was made using a man's sweatshirt from the thrift store!!!! (The other parts of the outfit including the purse were made from dollar store and thrift store materials too.) Made It On Monday, my brilliant partner on Crafting With The Stars, created it. Stay tuned to her blog for the other tutorials in this outfit!

Here are the three shirts she used to gain entrance into the elite 12 contestants!

Slubby Ruffle Top

And all three of these look great with a cardigan or jacket over them. Jill takes sweaters and shirts and makes them into cardigans. EASY!!!!

Voting for round 2 starts today and ends tomorrow! Watch out!!! All twelve projects are AMAZING! I don't know how anyone can be eliminated. I believe you can vote for upto three projects and the three bloggers with the lowest votes will have to say bye-bye:( Head over to Crafting With The Stars hosted by Sew Dang Cute Crafts to see some Dollar Store/Thrift Store inspiration.
