Faith

Hello!  Diana here today to share a monochromatic card.  I needed a green card today because I'm so ready for spring to come!

I started by trimming a piece of white card stock with Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A.  I then sponged some Mowed Lawn in a small area.  After it dried, I taped my layer to the Memory Box Textured Mesh stencil and added Dreamweaver's white embossing paste with a palette knife. I then set that aside to dry and started die cutting Memory Box Bamboo Shoots and the Faith word die out of green card stock.

When I tested in on the card, it was a little plain so I added ultra thick embossing powder to my die cuts and it instantly gave it more polish and oomph. Much better, don't you think?

For the inside of my card, I added another bamboo shoot die cut as well as a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps The Future set.

Thanks for looking!

Wherever You Go

Diana here with a cute card I made combining dies, stamps, and buttons for this week's challenge at CCNS. I love making little scenes out of dies. Today I used Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A, Impression Obsession Evergreen Trees, and PoppyStamps Scribble Clouds. I sponged Broken China for my skies and colored my little critters with Copics. I thought the buttons would make such cute balloons. After fussy cutting out the monkey and raccoon, I popped them up with small Joy! foam pads to add some extra dimensions.

There wasn't room on the front so I extended the scene to the inside of the card and found the perfect verse for it from ODBD Scripture Collection 3:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not

be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you
    wherever you go.
    Joshua 1:9

White Christmas Shaker Card

Has it started snowing where you are yet? Diana here today.  We've yet to see flurries but this year I'm a little more eager than usual. We got a new puppy - a Samoyed - and I know he will just love the snow. So between my sleepless nights with a two month old pup and this week's inspiration photo, I made a shaker card with glass glitter for snow.

I used PoppyStamps Grand Madison Window for my shaker front. The tree is done by clear embossing the stamped image on white card stock and then sponging Broken China and Chipped Sapphire for the nighttime sky. I also masked off a moon and added white stars with a white gel pen. To keep the glitter inside the two layers, I used clear cardstock, 1/8 Scor-tape, and foam tape.

I then adhered the window to a layer of kraft card stock cut down to size with Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A. I couldn't help but add a touch of red using the PoppyStamps Small Blooming Poinsettia against a silver spray of Memory Box Bamboo Shoots. The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Christmas Joy.

Stay warm!

Shimmering Christmas

Hello!  Diana here today.

I made a Christmas card for this week's Ornament Challenge.  I started with a white stitched rectangle base made with MFT Blueprints 13 and then smooshed with acetate two different greens in the corner:  Evergreen Bough and Mowed Lawn.  I then die-cut Memory Box Loopy Loop Wreath out of glittered red card stock and  Memory Box Cabrini ornament out of white card stock.  I filled in the Cabrini ornament with die cuts out of Shimmer Sheetz Purple Iris and Peridot Gemstone which is really hard to photograph!  :)

For my final touch, I stamped Merry Christmas (from Sweet 'n Sassy Christmas Joy) and die cut it out with a sweet little curved banner from Sweet 'n Sassy Banner dies set and popped it up with small Joy! foam pads in the bottom corner.

Hope you can play along!

Pretty Floral

Hi, Diane with you today. I have been making Fall and Christmas cards like mad and decided to take a break and make something fancy!

I used paper from The Paper Studio Country Road as my background and went from there. I know you can't see it properly, but I used a beautiful PoppyStamps Crochet Corner die to place under my flowers. It is so delicate and pretty.

On top of that I arranged a few flowers from my supplies along with Mini Rose Buds Pink, A few sprigs from Marianne Designs Anja Leaves 2, and leaf flourishes from Spellbinders Romantic Vines were added. To finish the floral bouquet, I used a green bow.

I stamped a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy Flowers In Bloom stamp set. The sentiment was punched out and inked with Distress Ink.

I double cut three butterflies first from Stardream Metallic Rose Quartz card stock, then from a dotted vellum using Joy! Crafts Fantasy Butterflies. A bit of bling was added to the butterflies with Sleek Silver Rhinestone Strips.

Thank you for visiting with me today.

Come back tomorrow, and we will have a new CCNS challenge for you. It will be Challenge #112 - Ornaments. There are beautiful cards just waiting to inspire you by the CCNS Design Team.

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Until next time...
