Love Is

Hi friends, Mindy here with a sample card of our challenge here at Classy Cards 'n Such.  The challenge is Love Makes the World Go Round,  using pink and/or red, with white and hearts. My card uses all of the above and I hope you like it.

I started with a white card base and embossed it with the Dots Embossing Folder by Crafts Too!  I embossed another white stock sheet with the Roses Embossing Folder by Brenda Walton and Sizzix and fussy cut around the flowers before attaching to the card borders with foam tape. These roses were colored with the Clear Glitter Pen by Wink of Stella to give them a bit of sparkle. I then stamped and colored the large flower from Floral Vintage Labels Two by JustRite Stampers, fussy cut around and adhered to card front with foam tape.

The sentiment was die cut along with a piece of thin craft foam to give it stability and strength before adhering it to the card front, along with heart stamping here and there.  I hope you will take the time while creating your Valentine cards to enter our weekly challenge.  There is a nice prize for the winner, and great prices on many of our supplies.

Won't you join our challenge this week?  It's super easy!

Thanks for stopping by!!!   Until next time...

Thank You

Hi Diane with you today and guess what?  I have something besides a Christmas card to share..lol!

I have always loved the colors of lavender and yellow together. I started the base of my card with a lavender card stock. I added a white panel to that. I used another piece of lavender card stock under a die cut from Sue Wilson's Mini Striplet Rose Garden.

I ran two strips of Scor-Tape 1/4" down each side, then sprinkled Sparkle 'n Sprinkle Lacey Lilac Glitter on each strip. Next, I made a bow using the Bow Easy tool, and adhered a Rose to the center.

The stamped sentiment is from the JustRite Thank You Daffodil stamp set. A butterfly was added using Joy! Crafts Butterfly Trio. To finish, I added a few pretty Lavender Pearls.

Thank you for visiting with me today and have a Merry Christmas!!

Come back tomorrow, and we will have a new CCNS challenge for you. It will be Challenge #116 - Silent Night, Holy Night. There are beautiful cards just waiting to inspire you by the CCNS Design Team.

Good morning! It's Joy here today.  I put up my tree today - it put me in the mood to make a card for the Classy Cards 'n Such weekly challenge.  The supplies I used are found in the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.

I used the cover plate called Cascade Evergreen Frame and cut out some blue glitter cardstock and used a die by Spellbinders called Labels Eighteen (which are on sale).  I then dry embossed the white card stock base using the Dots folder by Crafts Too.  The sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments by Impression Obsession which was popped up with Large Joy Foam Pads.

Pretty Floral

Hi, Diane with you today. I have been making Fall and Christmas cards like mad and decided to take a break and make something fancy!

I used paper from The Paper Studio Country Road as my background and went from there. I know you can't see it properly, but I used a beautiful PoppyStamps Crochet Corner die to place under my flowers. It is so delicate and pretty.

On top of that I arranged a few flowers from my supplies along with Mini Rose Buds Pink, A few sprigs from Marianne Designs Anja Leaves 2, and leaf flourishes from Spellbinders Romantic Vines were added. To finish the floral bouquet, I used a green bow.

I stamped a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy Flowers In Bloom stamp set. The sentiment was punched out and inked with Distress Ink.

I double cut three butterflies first from Stardream Metallic Rose Quartz card stock, then from a dotted vellum using Joy! Crafts Fantasy Butterflies. A bit of bling was added to the butterflies with Sleek Silver Rhinestone Strips.

Thank you for visiting with me today.

Come back tomorrow, and we will have a new CCNS challenge for you. It will be Challenge #112 - Ornaments. There are beautiful cards just waiting to inspire you by the CCNS Design Team.

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Until next time...

Grateful

Good morning friends. Mindy joining you today, with a sample card for our weekly challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such. Our challenge this week is #111 Thankful, a sentiment that is heartfelt all year long, but especially at this time of year.

I started with the greeting, Grateful, from the I am Thankful stamp set from Impression Obsession. I knew I wanted this to be my focal image on my card so I die cut around it, inked the edges to match the base card, and the printed paper from the Romance paper pad by Joy! Crafts. I also die cut the Mary Border Strip by Spellbinders to back my focal strip.

I then added another sentiment from the I am Thankful stamp set. A flower from the  Arianna Blooms PreCut set was stamped on white stock, and then colored to match.

I am so grateful for good health and happiness this Thanksgiving, and I hope you are too!

There is still time to join our Classy Cards 'n Such challenge. Click on the Current Challenge tab on the right side of the blog for all the details. Come and join the fun!

Thanks for stopping by!!! Until next time...

Birthday Wishes

Hi, Diane with you today. You have been seeing lots of holiday cards lately I am sure, so today I have something a little bit ordinary to share.

I had some pretty paper I thought a little bit trendy, and decided to build my card on that.

After adhering my base paper, I added a pretty edger at the top using Impression Obsession Border Duo #1. White Pearls were added to each scallop.

I have a real fondness for lattice dies, and Bille's Circle is a gorgeous lattice die, and a perfect place to add my flowers to. It was cut from Stardream Rose Quartz Metallic paper.

Flowers from my own supplies were added, along with tucked in leaves from Spellbinders Romantic Blooms One die set. These are so pretty, as they have so much detail!

Butterflies were made using Bluebell Stardream Metallic paper, and Joy! Crafts  Fantasy Butterflies Die.

To finish I added a bow made from a snippet of ribbon I had left, stamped a sentiment, and a few more White Pearls were added.

Thank you for visiting with me today!
