Good afternoon! Can you feel fall in the air where you live? Hi, it's Joy, and the challenge this week at Classy Cards 'n Such is going to help us get in the mood for the Colors of Fall.
The blue dot paper is from Graphic 45 paper called Home Sweet Home and Simple Stories Harvest Lane.
The brown paper was embossed with a Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Flora folder.
The mat was cut from Spellbinder's Labels Twenty-Two, and the butterfly called Majestic Monarch, was stamped on Heavyweight Vellum; cut using the matching Majestic Monarch die.
I sponged a little blue on the label with a Tim Holtz Mini Ink Blending Tool.
The tiny leaves are from the Massa Leaf Frame die by PoppyStamps and cut, using paper from Home Sweet Home.
Have you entered one of our challenges lately? You could be the winner of a nice prize. Looking forward to see what you do!
Have a Happy stamping day!

Prayer Garden
Hello
Friends! Mindy with you, featuring my thoughts on our inspiration photo
presented for our weekly challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such. Our #97 Photo Inspiration is a cute bunny munching on some greenery in the vintage
garden.
We hope you come back every day to see two new cards posted daily that the design team has created not only for the weekly challenge, but we also post two regular cards daily, later in the week, to give you even more inspiration!

When
I studied this photo, I was inspired by the plants and the bunny's
form, against the brick wall.
I started my card with the Bricks and Bark M-Bossabilities folder by Spellbinders against my card base.
I then die cut Garden Pots by Memory Box, Bunny Set and Grass Border by Impression Obsession, a Leaf Branch by Sue Wilson, and two Small Hydrangea Blooms by Poppy Stamps.
I
die cut the Bunny Set, and used it as a stencil to stipple the bunny
shapes on to white card stock with green ink. I was going for the
topiary look, growing from the clay pots. I then hid the clay pots
behind two layers of the Grass Border, also shaded with the green ink. I used Joy! Large Foam Pads to pop the topiary up against the brick wall to give the card dimension.
I then added the Sue Wilson leaves, and a Grommet Tag from Spellbinders, to the top of my card, with a sentiment from the Keep in Touch, Too stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Two Small Hydrangea Blooms were die cut and added to the side of the Grommet Tag.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today, and are inspired by our photo to create a card of your own for our weekly challenge.
We hope you come back every day to see two new cards posted daily that the design team has created not only for the weekly challenge, but we also post two regular cards daily, later in the week, to give you even more inspiration!

Dream Come True
Mindy
posting a card today that reminds me of a special time in my life,
going on a picnic with my family. We loved to take day trips, that were
not too far from home, but would be like a "mini" vacation on the
weekends.
Our challenge this week at Classy Cards 'n Such, is #93 Summer Picnic using the colors of Kraft, Red, and White.
If you are unable to find an item in the store, or would like something special ordered, please email me at beverly@classycardsnsuch.com.

Our challenge this week at Classy Cards 'n Such, is #93 Summer Picnic using the colors of Kraft, Red, and White.
I started my scenic card by die cutting the Woodland Tree Silhouette die by Memory Box, from Kraft card stock, and then ran it through the Bricks and Bark embossing
folder by Spellbinders, to give it texture. I highlighted the bark
embossing with ink, so the texture would show more before adding the
leaves from Impression Obsession and the Leaf Cluster die.
The blanket grouping was assembled next. The jug of lemonade made from the Small Canning Jar by Memory Box, Carolers and Kite die cut set from Impression Obsession.
There were a few add-on embellishments that were either leftovers from other cards, (white flowers, title strip), or hand cut (lemonade glasses). The grass cluster stamp and multi colored twine were both from my stash.
I want to thank you all for looking at my card, and hope a small bit of it inspires you to create a card of your own to enter in our challenge.
Be sure to check out the requirements listed under Current Challenge, they are very important to follow, because we love to see what you come up with!

Berry Sweet
Hi, Diane with you today!

This week our challenge is Summer Picnic, using the colors Kraft~Red~White. Now, I don't know about you, but I love a picnic!
I started my card with an embossing folder that to me, looked like a basket weave, embossed on Kraft card stock. A good choice for this is Spellbinders Basket Weave 3D embossing folder.
I stamped my gingham checks on white card stock, using Impression Obsession, Gingham Cover A Card stamp. I used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals Small to cut the gingham background. (A little tip, these dies are on sale in the store right now)!
The basket is a Memory Box die cut, you could use the
Memory Box Bountiful Basket, which is slightly different from the one I used.
The strawberries were made using a PoppyStamps die
Heart Balloons. This die cuts 4 balloons in a heart shape. One happens to be an outline, leaving a perfect cut
little heart, which is what I used for my berries!
To make the berries more realistic, I embossed them with Crafts Too Dots embossing folder. The stems were made with Impression Obsession Leaf Cluster. This die comes with 2 sizes of the leaf clusters. I used the larger for the berries and the smaller for the berry blossoms. The berry blossoms were made with Impression Obsession Tiny Flowers.
The banner is from Memory Box Banner Parade die. A few Sequins and a twine bow were added to finish. You can make your own sequins, using the My Favorite Things Sequins die and one of the many Foil papers.
I hope to see YOU join in our challenge with us!
Isn't
this a fun challenge?? There is plenty of time left for you to join
in! Details can be found by clicking on the Current Challenge tab on

Picnic Today
It's
summer time, and a great day for a picnic. Our challenge this week on
the blog is #93 Summer Picnic Color, featuring the colors of Kraft, Red,
and White.
When I heard the theme was picnic, I knew immediately the stamp I wanted to use. Mindy with you today, sharing my picnic themed card.
I ordered the Gazebo 'Try' Fold card by Art Impressions last year, and have only used it a few times. Although it can be used for weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays, I thought it would be great promoting a summer picnic. The instructions included with the stamp, are to make a card that has three sections of stamping, that when folded together, makes a wonderful interactive card. This time I only wanted to make a one-layer card, to show the entire scene on the front of the card.
After coloring with my markers, I trimmed around the entire image, added a border of red card stock and trimmed again. I added dimension to the sign on the easel with Joy! Large Foam Pads, and even more dimension with some clear adhesive on the sign, balloons, and flower pot.
I embossed a rectangle of Kraft colored stock with the Bricks and Bark M-Bossabilities by Spellbinders, and attached it to the front of my card. I then adhered the picnic scene to the card front to complete my card.
I hope you enjoy our sample cards this week, and will enter one of your own creations to our challenge. Happy Stamping!
