Pennington Wedding

Hello!  Diana here to share with you a wedding card I made for this week's Autumn Wedding #101 challenge. I was inspired by the colors in the middle picture, and I thought it would be great to just have the word love for the card.

The roses are the Memory Box Pennington Rose, above parts of the Open Scroll Leaf by Impression Obsession, and Memory Box Bamboo Shoots.

The lacy background is the large die in the  Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight.

I also added some self adhesive White Baby Pearls, under the back of Spellbinders Metal Crafts Foil. I die cut the word "Love" by Penny Black, as well as adding some oval shaped pearls in the corner with the Ice White Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

Thank you so much for looking and I hope you can play along!

Wishing You

Hi, Joy today showing you a card I made with supplies from the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.  This will go into my card stash for a wedding.

First thing was to die cut the first layer from pink card stock using a die from Blueprints 4, by My Favorite Things, and embossed it using an Anna Griffin Folder called Crowned Medallion.

From that set I also die cut two of the small rectangle pieces, and stamped the sentiment from Botanical Medallions and Banners, by JustRite, on the smaller one.

A  banner from pattern paper was die cut using Blueprints 13 by My Favorite Things.

A butterfly from Botanical Medallions and Banners by Sweet 'n Sassy was stamped on Vintage Blue paper by Glitz, and die cut using a Majestic Monarch die from Sweet 'n Sassy.  All of these were layered using Joy Foam Pads.

Thanks for looking at my card. Have a happy stamping day!

Good morning, Steph here.  Sometimes I just want a card that lets the pattern papers and the sentiment take center stage.

For this wedding card, I created a 6" x 6" square card from pink cardstock and scored it with my Scor-Buddy.  You get the perfect scored lines every time you use it.

Using papers from Glitz' Pretty in Pink paper pad, I created a layered effect by using the striped paper as the base layer and adding a strip of black pattern paper  to the top and bottom edges of the rose layer.   Using some Champagne Simply Sheer Asiana ribbon, I tied it around the rose paper before adhering the rose paper to the striped base layer.

The sentiment is from JustRite Stampers Wedding Nested Sentiments and was a perfect fit inside the Spellbinders Scalloped Hearts.  I stamped the sentiment first, then arranged the heart die cut around the sentiment.   I sponged some Pumice Stone Distress Ink around the edges of the white heart, then layered it on a larger heart cut from the Glitz paper pad.

Two smaller hearts were die cut from the Spellbinders Scalloped Hearts using papers from the same Glitz paper pad.  These hearts were layered together and placed at the bottom of the white heart, both to fill in the empty space and to add some visual interest.
Thanks, Steph!  It's about time to start adding wedding cards to our stashes and this is a wonderful one to make.

Happy Wedding Day

Hello everyone. It's Jenn and today I have a wedding card to share with you.
I started with a pre-made card base that measures 5.5 x 6.5. I created a rectangle and a square patterned paper layer using The Lake House collection

On top of the patterned paper layers, I added a strip of Textured Two-tone Ribbon in Pink/White by May Arts.

Using pink cardstock and the French Pastry Doily Die, I cut out a pink doily and stamped my sentiment in the middle.

For the perfect finishing touch I cut out an off white
Labels Eighteen and mounted a Pink Floral Silhouette on it.

The floral silhouettes are so pretty!!!  Thanks, Jenn!

Spellbinders D-Lites are 15% off through February 14th.  Details are here!  Twenty dies to choose from!!
