With Love

Hello, it is Shirley posting today.  I have a card to share with you that I made for the Classy Cards 'n Such brand new challenge.  For this challenge we are to use buttons on our cards.  I hope you will come over to play the challenge and show us how you use your buttons.

I started my card with a navy card base and added a gold layer of card stock.  My next step was to cut a white layer and use the Sue Wilson Lyra - Gemini die on the bottom edge of it.

I added gold corners to the top of the card using the Impression Obsession Brick House die set.   I cut the With Love die cut using one of the  Spellbinders Sentiments Three dies.   I then adhered it to the white decorative piece using Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.

I added some navy blooms and placed faux gold buttons in the centers.  For the final touch to my card, I added pearls.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you are having a great Monday.

Happy Colors

Hello, Diane with you today.  How is the weather where you live?  It is cold here, in the teens, so it seems appropriate to bring a bit of sunshine to the blog in the form of bright and happy colors.

Our challenge this week just so happens to be Bright and Cheerful.  Nothing can produce those colors like the Ken Oliver Color Bursts.  I used colors from both the Earth Tone Set and the Brights Set.  Using the Spritzer Bottle, I spritzed water on water color paper, then lightly squirted on the colors, more water, etc., until I was satisfied with the results.

Here is a photo to show you the effects.  (Yes, I did a second one for later use.)

Once dried, I cut flowers and leaves from Spellbinders Romantic Blooms Three.  Black Pearls were added to the center of the larger flower.

For the background I used one of the dies from Memory Box Distressed Windham Collection.  Then I embossed it with Crafts-Too Dots embossing folder.

I finished with a pretty bow with ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbons.  Thank you for visiting with me today!

Winter Wishes

Hello, Diane with you today!  Our challenge this week is winter blues, make it blue and white and to use the inspiration board.  Well, you can also see I was inspired a bit by the kraft color in the bottom photo.

I started my card by embossing with the Darice embossing folder Doily Lace.  Using a Kraft paper, I die cut Marianne Anja's Large Oval.  The green flourish you see is also from the same set.

The image and the snow verse you see are both from the
gorgeous Graphic 45 Time To Flourish paper pack.  This paper pack is so beautiful that I had to purchase two pads, as I knew one I would hoard!

I added a bit of sparkle by using Wink of Stella Glitter Pen on the image.  I finished up with a few Le Creme pearls.

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Until next time...

Each is Different

Welcome to the weekly challenge this week at Classy Cards 'n Such. Mindy here with my collection of Snowflakes, that shows that snowflakes are like fingerprints.  Each one is different.

I started my card with a layer of one of the beautiful metallic papers sold in the Classy Cards Store, then a holographic print, and die cut a background of snowflakes. I removed a portion of the background die and stamped the Bible verse on a square of card stock and centered it in the opening. I then cut layers of various size single snowflakes and adhered them together on top of the background for dimension.  Baby pearls were then added to the snowflake centers and to the sentiment square.

I used the following products from the Classy Cards Online Store:
Snowflake Background Die Cut- by Impression Obsession, one similar from my stash
Small Snowflake Set - by Impression Obsession
Cast All Your Cares Stamp Set- by Just Rite Stamps
Baby Pearls - white -by Want 2 Scrap and
Dries Clear Adhesive - by Art Institute

I hope you have enjoyed my card, and will consider adding a card of your own creation to our challenge this week.

Joy to the World

The Lord has Come! We are only a day away from Christmas, and I want to take this opportunity to wish you all Joy and Happiness this holiday season.  Mindy with you to share a happy little card with a wonderful message of joy.

I started with two background layers of white that I cut a window from one, using a Spellbinders die.  I then placed it on top of the other, and traced around the opening so my sentiment would be centered.  I used the Joy to the World word stamp from the Heartfelt Creations set Joy to the World Cling Stamp set which still may be available in the Classy Cards online store.  I ran the top layer through my embossing machine with the Dots Embossing Folder by Crafts Too!  After backing with Joy! Foam Pads - Large I adhered the layers and added it to the card front.

I framed the sentiment with another of the framed dies from the Spellbinders set, then stamped a few tiny snowflakes and added Baby Pearls - White to the center of each.  I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful holiday.

Thank You

Hi Diane with you today and guess what?  I have something besides a Christmas card to share..lol!

I have always loved the colors of lavender and yellow together. I started the base of my card with a lavender card stock. I added a white panel to that. I used another piece of lavender card stock under a die cut from Sue Wilson's Mini Striplet Rose Garden.

I ran two strips of Scor-Tape 1/4" down each side, then sprinkled Sparkle 'n Sprinkle Lacey Lilac Glitter on each strip. Next, I made a bow using the Bow Easy tool, and adhered a Rose to the center.

The stamped sentiment is from the JustRite Thank You Daffodil stamp set. A butterfly was added using Joy! Crafts Butterfly Trio. To finish, I added a few pretty Lavender Pearls.

Thank you for visiting with me today and have a Merry Christmas!!

Come back tomorrow, and we will have a new CCNS challenge for you. It will be Challenge #116 - Silent Night, Holy Night. There are beautiful cards just waiting to inspire you by the CCNS Design Team.
